Tag Swap

I joined a Tag Swap on the Cricut MB. This was fun - I almost didn't want to mail them. LOL

Can't wait to see what gets swapped. I used the JOTS cart - on the tag option. Various colored cardstock, fine glitter, glitter pen and snowflakes to dangle. Hope all enjoys the variety.

You've seen this bat before... But I created these simple cards using the Coluzzle and MS stamps. These are going to my friends college students.
Adopted from a Dawn Youtube video

These are so easy and simple to make. I plan on passing these out at a gathering at my home.
They call them sour cream containers as they resembles those found in the fast food places. Take a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 printed CS. Cut in 4 equal pieces.
Put adhesive on three sides leaving one short side not glued. Roll the short sides together to form a tube. Pinch close one end. Fill with goodies, turn the piece and pinch the other side.
I punched the scallop circle from SU, and the leaf is from Cricut AC cart. The ribbon is from MS.

Mosaic creations LO

Kristen and I went to Claytime Studios this summer for a few ceramic creations and also tried our hand at mosaic's. While the creating was fun, the gluing was tedious. We like our results and I enjoyed spending time with my DD. GS cricut cuts were used for the accents, CS is from Story Teller Club.

Purse Card

A MB'er on the Cricut MB gave us this idea to make a Purse card. The directions from Michelle and photos are a brillant idea (Here is Michelle's post) - I just had to make one for a friend of mine.

Michelle used George - which I do not have - so I used my Coluzzle - and did quite a bit alterations. Michelle states you can change it up to suit your "style" check our post for more ideas.

Another gift card - Ornament

This time - no glitter! cuts made with JOTS

Circle - 5" - deer cut at 2"

Gift card Pull out Ornament

I saw this idea in my card magazine - Thought I would use JOTS and some glitter. Glitter a little messy - next ones will be with out!

Side walk chalk

I had this topper for awhile and I kept looking for pics of our children - chalking up the driveway. I finally got both in the same spot! I used Locker Talk for the hopscotch (4") and My Community for the children (2 1/2").

Owl card - made from SU punches

This was a lot of fun. (quick too!)I saw this done on a youtube video and thought - hey I have those punches - and did it close to memory.

BOO - three fold card

Hope you enjoy!

This card opens to a 6 x 9 1/2 card
Score at 4 inches and then again at 2 3/4 inches

Use the 5th web of a circle coluzzle to cut out the "ooo" be sure not to cut a complete circle - so it all stays attached.

Embelised with cricut cuts, and foam pieces and stamps as well.
Here is the closed view.

I made these bats with the circle Coluzzle and the slit punch from SU!

Using the inner 4 circles - I cut one of each. The smallet and largest circles are cut in half.

Here is how you make it:

Smallest circle - cut in 1/2 for the ears, the next size up if for the head - white pen and google eyes for accents. Glue on ears.

The third cut up is for the body, attach to the head with a raised foam dot. The last (4th) circle cut if for the wings. Cut this circle in 1/2. Then take your split punch and punch out wing details. I used my glitter pen to add wing details. Glue to the body.

I then used the largest cut on the circle Coluzzle to create the moon. Brown ink accented the edges. Used foam dots to rise the bat a little off the moon. Enjoy! Super simple and quick.

Halloween Tissue box cover

Happy Halloween

I couldn't find a pattern for the small size tissue box cover.
I made the pattern myself. Cut a 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 square from desired CS
From that square - cut out a 5 x 5 corner from that piece of CS.
Make 2 Scores and do it again.
(If you use my idea - please link back to my web site. TY!)

I do not have PDDU so I used the carts I had.
PS - for the grass and web (for the web I used the blast icon)
MC - for the fence and cat
GS - for Boo (just cut off the k and s letters off the books icon/image)
- Moon
- eyes
- tree
- clouds
The ghost is hand cut by loking at the PDDU hand book

(I forgot to pull the tissue through the cover when I took these pictures)

Boo! I see you

I saw a similar version on a SU BLOG, in different colors but they used circle punches for the eyes. I wanted to use the eyes from the Cricut GS cart.

Strips are 1" in lenght and brown ink is used to age the strips.

Super simple - FUN!
