A local hardware store had a clearance sale and I was lucky enough to attend at the end of the event. I bought a few things, however my favorite find during the sale was three packages of these large glittered snowflakes.<br />

Using the Tim Holtz medallion strip die I die cut and folded thick cardstock into these 2.5" medallions. Hot glued in place. Then looked through my Stampin Up sentiments and stamped various phrases on thick craft card stock. Spellbinders labels die allowed me to fancy up the sentiments.<br />

I had all items on hand to try my hand at these as I've seen them on Pinterest.<br />
I purchased these flowers from Michael's as part of the fall flowers discounted down 80%.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidhtG8SGl1V4kQbnWWOCTb7Q2IpF-KxoLZu6mNBHyrEqvZQc3KvwKtikz_c0Ec7xBNcKTd1llvAp3vxFPB80rY-LdJxY3IbId-kDxcwABOuY1oYOvhbxtgECg5zcWQgt0DkU4g7Ai5lvmV/s1600/20171126_141328.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidhtG8SGl1V4kQbnWWOCTb7Q2IpF-KxoLZu6mNBHyrEqvZQc3KvwKtikz_c0Ec7xBNcKTd1llvAp3vxFPB80rY-LdJxY3IbId-kDxcwABOuY1oYOvhbxtgECg5zcWQgt0DkU4g7Ai5lvmV/s320/20171126_141328.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
With one bloom....I was able to make three angels!<br />
For the head I used a 25mm wooden bead.<br />
For the wings I wrapped gathered lace around the neck area, made a figure 8 and twisted it into a set of wings and hot glued it down.<br />
Added the faux diamond to the front and gave her a halo.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal">Pin It</a>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiY_KSWL4WPuNQ2oQEDeilrCj1Elah07h5dyqrbsStnZbNxOzSE2FCRs02bqT0XteDd3Q-8gypQQ1kRUu51K_5rh1pl5OD68CWYEn3EBv-R9F8NkMEwY-R5W0NpX69ojt6e6LR7LpsIlU67/s1600/20171124_142553.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="986" data-original-width="1527" height="206" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiY_KSWL4WPuNQ2oQEDeilrCj1Elah07h5dyqrbsStnZbNxOzSE2FCRs02bqT0XteDd3Q-8gypQQ1kRUu51K_5rh1pl5OD68CWYEn3EBv-R9F8NkMEwY-R5W0NpX69ojt6e6LR7LpsIlU67/s320/20171124_142553.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
These started out as children alphabet blocks and I painted three layers of blue acrylic paint to cover up the letters that were painted on the side.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZI0Ga6OZHN-LuIQQUqnlwKqqnpYk9a-d919N7LCfVkSJvBkaE6WLlr-GnBP_M6MhUHISUN0-FtfqG9m0RCjdhwdNkb1kAvEaNzt13fhuRiZ8FMs-sawK2T8d4dUyD9VS0UjXYJLROX7Bb/s1600/20171124_142610.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="937" data-original-width="1600" height="187" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZI0Ga6OZHN-LuIQQUqnlwKqqnpYk9a-d919N7LCfVkSJvBkaE6WLlr-GnBP_M6MhUHISUN0-FtfqG9m0RCjdhwdNkb1kAvEaNzt13fhuRiZ8FMs-sawK2T8d4dUyD9VS0UjXYJLROX7Bb/s320/20171124_142610.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then added a circle of white acrylic paint (this took 3 to 4 coats of white to cover up the blue).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then painted on the snow on all the remaining sides.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finished up with the nose and face features.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
What I didn't take a pic of what the eye screw and twine hanger.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Made these three to sell in the craft fair.</div>

They are small and would be great on a mini tree or package tie.<br />
One cinnamon stick<br />
A small strip of ribbon<br />
7" of twine<br />
Punch of pine needles and a heart<br />
Hot glue and made these rather quickly<br />

The circles cut and released very nicely!<br />
They are a set from Spellbinders.<br />

The candles are battery operated with a real wax feel and flickering flame. These plain candles came from The Dollar Tree<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This version I cut a 1.5" of music paper and hit glued to the candle. Then die cut the peace frame and sentiment.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This version I wrapped twine around the mid section of the candle and then hot glue 3 leaves and added rhinestones.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal">Pin It</a>

I was so excited to buy this Disney Cinderella Carriage die off of fb a couple months ago as I had my daughter in mind.<br />
She is a HUGE Disney fan and after several thoughts on what type of card I was going to make her - I settled on this 3D<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJbLxBtsvtU_KsHPbszfOGyuGVwYxSWoUaXvMm7C4mk976lpw9QsfYYOzqT-LdGnl39kQGXd0bWAHfhgZfTyFh0XRfMPeKRvlWYJ60L_vl2UBRsGAg8IDsNaKH0D9tB0U67E3P3LyhS3Fn/s1600/20171019_153303.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJbLxBtsvtU_KsHPbszfOGyuGVwYxSWoUaXvMm7C4mk976lpw9QsfYYOzqT-LdGnl39kQGXd0bWAHfhgZfTyFh0XRfMPeKRvlWYJ60L_vl2UBRsGAg8IDsNaKH0D9tB0U67E3P3LyhS3Fn/s640/20171019_153303.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
Trying to get the layers to line up precisely was a little tricky. You see... when you lay the card flat the middle frame lays perfectly over the mat on the last section.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0SaVwfarp0aiOGND0jEYWpCM_CPKxbt31roxpkJer6PDx_ixB5Ivr-Nh09BvAMO8Gnx_FyME5WISOFnRYBrzH5z10-jUxCWci7_6xIqJamJ8oKbA2eif65sfKbttE2kQbKFjdr10Al7yP/s1600/20171019_153318.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0SaVwfarp0aiOGND0jEYWpCM_CPKxbt31roxpkJer6PDx_ixB5Ivr-Nh09BvAMO8Gnx_FyME5WISOFnRYBrzH5z10-jUxCWci7_6xIqJamJ8oKbA2eif65sfKbttE2kQbKFjdr10Al7yP/s640/20171019_153318.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
The Happy is hung only by the "h" on the frame panel and the Birthday is glued to the back mat.<br />
This card took some time and lots of thought however I am please with the outcome.<br />
Happy Birthday to my daughter! <3 p=""></3><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal">Pin It</a>

I had to come up with a unique card for Joe. He loves Halloween so I spent hours thinking, creating and gluing various die pieces.<br />
The gate actually bows out around the hand cut headstone pieces.<br />
The tree is partially glued down so that it will pop out a little.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The front of the gate fold card has the spider web and spiders crawling down for more of the 3d effect.<br />
I just bought this die set at Micheal's with my 60% off coupon - not bad for 5.50!!!<br />

This card is a little rustic or vintage or repurposed.... (FYI the background card is not as pink as the camera picked it up)<br />

I picked up 5 different fall colors paint chips at the Hardware store and ran them all through my big shot using Lawn Fawn leaves dies (love the cuts)<br />
I ran vintage page of a book through a new background die from Tim Holtz / Sizzix to represent "wind"<br />
Added some twine to the side and left this no sentiment note card to send to my daughter.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal">Pin It</a>

Made this card for my son... it was long overdue.<br />
The background layer is a metal embossing plate that I picked up on clearance at the Expo and this was the first time I used it. Pretty neat effect and I did add a little brown ink to it however it is hard to see.<br />
Sizzix thing of you die and Lawn Fawn leaves cut from paint chips I had in my stash.<br />
Some of the leaves I added foam to raise some of them.<br />
Nice quick card.<br />

My daughter was in a wedding and the color theme was Blue, white and champagne. Of course being a card maker I offered to make this card. After multiple cuttings - layouts - I settled on this card using some new dies I had in my stash.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Dollar Tree tea lights</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Paint, Glitter, and gold Doilies from Micheal's.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My daughter was in a wedding last month and I created a sample for her as she had to make 9 globe type centerpieces. She told me what she wanted to do and this is what the intent was.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>Masked off a line with painters tape and painted 4 layers of gold paint on the bottom third of the globe.</li>
<li>Painted a thin band at the top and added a layer of gold glitter over the paint line before it dried</li>
<li>added sand (not in this picture) and then a tea light</li>
<li>Placed the globe on a gold doilie</li>
</ol>
<div>
The 9 other globes had a variation of glitter sections and paint in different sections and they all looked fabulous and were traveled well to VT.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Right now I have this "sample / prototype" filled with life savers until perhaps Christmas time whee I'll put little string lights and foliage in there. I'll add to this post when I change up the insides.</div>

Created this cute birthday card for Violet. It was her 7th birthday and I finally got around to using this Stampin' Up Spinner die.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0zOytjQ7qXajNZeO74cv6LRzQlf_LAJpeAVr0tSWROlJsHZOOKwKMGTPWQ3nX8TeKrU6FzttEm8lMrOZ67-xjmmhC5e-eWpYmXrdz_ddXLcgDeIb6chspmZOMdZsaFbGt_2c8HKoKwfTL/s1600/20170917_000106.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0zOytjQ7qXajNZeO74cv6LRzQlf_LAJpeAVr0tSWROlJsHZOOKwKMGTPWQ3nX8TeKrU6FzttEm8lMrOZ67-xjmmhC5e-eWpYmXrdz_ddXLcgDeIb6chspmZOMdZsaFbGt_2c8HKoKwfTL/s320/20170917_000106.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
The channel around the cat (circle) allows the heart to rotate / spin around the cat image. Kind of cute and an easier way to the old spinner method having a die. All layers needs to be raised up so the pennies that are in the channel can flow or move freely.<br />
(Created this back in September and just getting around to posting)<div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal">Pin It</a>

<br />
I took a block of floral foam and cut it into 3 pieces and inserted that into the pumpkins.<br />

Using various flowers and foliage I was able to come up with two centerpieces so far.<br />
