The Cuttlebug Spot hop - creations

On my to do list from tonight's blog hop - I got two of the 4 done:
1) Serendipity - where you take random pieces of scraps - and in this case glue them down and run them through a Cuttlebug folder. I used the new Herringbone folder. Used my scrap pieces that I save to accent the front. Looking at the card - it reminds me of an old patch work quilt.

2) Is double embossing. I first ran the printed paper through Swiss Dot folder - and sanded to show the dots, then I ran it through again - through the new Harlequin folder.
The embelishments - were also in my scrap bin.

I'll post the other two tomorrow.

  4. Way cool! The serendipity really looks like fabric and the double embossing with the harlequin is really pretty! Gotta try these techniques with the new folders! Thanks for playing along! xxD
