As I am trying to get some LO done today, I followed a sketch at
Stuck on U Sketches and the theme of Rainbows at
Charisma Cardz (I know I did a LO instead of a card hope that is ok) for challenge #52, to commemorate my dad's 2nd anniversary of his passing.
The background paper is from Me & My Big Idea Designer pack I picked up at Marshalls (140 sheets for 6.99 now how would I pass that up!), the hearts is a Embosslet from Sizzix/SU, and the letters are from Current. The tags/jounaling spots are from Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Grommet Tags".
Good job on the sketch. Love the background paper. Thanks for joining us at SOUS :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to remember your dad. My mom passed last December and I was trying to think of something to do for her. I think I will work on a layout after I go thru some OLD pictures.

The LO is beautiful. We just had our first Christmas without my mother in law and as difficult as it was, our only thought was...Wow, she is spending Jesus birthday at his side. I hope that scrapping this has been therapeutic for you. Thank you for joining us at SOUS for the challenge!!
