Wire wrapped bobby pins

I am loving a new craft for me, wire wrapping.

Luckily I already had everything to make these beaded bobby pins.

 I took 6" of wire (I believe it is either 22 or 24 gauge) , looped one end to the flat portion of the pin. Strung on a bead, wrapped the wire through the pin came around again and repeated the process. When I got to the end I wrapped the wire three times and secured it just before the end feed point of the bottom bobby pin.

 

I die cut tags and bagged them up, I even sold 5 yesterday and I only charged $1.00 each.

Repurpose old fashion Christmas light bulbs

I bought a bag of these at a yard sale years ago and finally got to glitter them up.
The glitter was ultra fine (actually was a fall clearance bundle also on clearance years ago.) Mod Podge Matte the outside and not the cap. Added green hook wires and hot glued ribbon around the wire and cap. Final step to keep glitter sealed in (before adding ribbon) was a clear spray sealer.
Thought about what else it needed so punched out a saying and hung it off the wire. Now to package up for craft fair!

Decorated mask

I went to a friend's house last night who is a fabulous painter, artist and teacher. Well she invited about 10 women over to her studio to paint and decorate a mask.
For a small fee we used her paints and plethora of craft supplies.
This is going on the wall of my bedroom so I kept it gold and brown.

Mine was a little plain compared to others but it suited my room colors.

If there were different color than black and red feathers I would have added those but used a wired ribbon instead. This was a lot of fun and something I've never done before.

Winter Wishes

The card is a little different as I embossed the inside layer and placed a textured snowflake through the aperture.
Sentiment I had which is very old, perhaps from the Michael's dollar bin

Treble Clef pendants

After watching a YouTube video (made by Jocelyn D.) I couldn't wait to make a few!
I started out with a 4.25 inches of wire where you start making the inner circle (swirl) and follow upwards to make the s shape.

I added little birthday stone for fun, I added this thin round leather cord but it will be changed to something else... I'll post folow up pictures once I finish the set.

Vintage ornament

This is a picture of my parents back in the 50's, my dad was in the Air Force (which later I understand was the Air division of the Army) .
My dad passed in 2009 and my mom passed in 1972 so any picture I have is precious. Each year since 2009 I make an ornament for my siblings and myself.

I took some wood cutouts that had a butterfly in the middle and using my Circle Scissors tool cut out scrapbook paper and the image, glued it to the front and added a vintage colored heart charm (from Michael's) . Can't wait to give them to my 4 siings this Christmas.

Grateful using Lawn Fawn stitched leaves

I went to a scrapbooking convention and picked up the new Stitched Leaves Lawn Fawn set and made 11 various Thanksgiving cards. Inked the edges to give them dimension against different embossing folders.

Single layer card set

I have to say I am pleased how these turned out.
Single layers cards for a craft fair I am doing next month at my church, we were to donate an item to a raffle basket so I came up with these.

 Above card, I cut out a window from a scrap piece of card stock and sponge in some green ink. Took the Stampin Up tree and stamped three trees for the backgroung. Took a darker green, removed the mask and stamped the tree full size as well as sentiment.

 above card I masked off a portion of top and bottom and sponged blue and green ink. Inked the French script from Stampin Up. Removed the two masked pieces and stamped the large branch and sentiment.

Similar directions as the top card. This one my favorite.
