Live - LO

Here is a LO of my son and my mother in law. I took this picture at my nephew's wedding last month because they both coincidentally wore purple.

A Challenge # 2 - Butterflies at Crafty Catz and a Flourish Challenge at Frosted Designs.
All cuts were from Home Accents Cricut cartridge.
Flourish was cut at 3" (Yes 3"!!!!)

Butterfly also cut at 3"

The sentiment cut at 4"
Also shadow was cut for layering effect on each item. Rhinestones added for sparkle and the butterfly is raised on foam dots.
Ribbon from Target

Compartment Box

I learned how to make this box http://thecraftingpot.blogspot.com/.
Marci gave us directions on making a pencil box, I added more sections and will probably keep some craft items in it, or office supplies.
The cuts I used on the top are from Indie Art and Home Accent Cricut cartridges. (2 1/4")

Faith - Just Buggin' Challenge

Challenge #1 at Just Buggin' was to use the word SERENE as inspiration. I thought about thisfor a few days, diff ideas ran through my mind. Tonight I came up with this one.
I embossed the base cs using Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder and Swiss Dot on the frame.

The hummingbird was cut at 2 1/2" from Home Accent Cricut cartridge as well as the word faith at 1 1/2".

I left the inside blank for now - as this could be a thoughtful card, thinking of you, or a sympathy card.

Here is an angle view so you can see that I embossed the card stock layer using Stylized Flowers
Here is the inside - I cut the "butterfly" and "love" from Cricut Cartridge Home Accents at 2 1/2

The alphabet is from Wild Card Cricut cartridge.
The border punch is from EK Success.
Added rhinestones for a little glitz.

Home Accents - keyboard image

I just bought this last night at Wal-Mart for 30.00 and since the keys are very small and hard to quickly see the icons... (Becasue this is a solutions cart - there is no handbook)

I scanned the keypad on my scanner and I printed a copy on 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. Resulting in a 6 x 10 1/2 enlargement once I cut out all the white space.

Now I can see the keys and what I am selecting- hope this may be helpful to any one.
