Swap birthday card

I participated in a swap with a few ladies at our monthly card group, last month and this is the card I created using Stampin' Up products. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Sorry for the blurry pic, but you can get the gist of it :) I hope.

I rounded the bottom of the card for a different element and added glitter glue to the cherries.

Butterfly Birthday card

My twin sister and I have a birthday on Sunday, and I must send this card today!
I created it this morning before work to ensure it meets the letter carrier today!

The butterfly is a punch I have had for years and punched it out on whisper white card stock at 1 1/2" x 1 3/4". The blue card stock beneath the butterflies were run through three different embossing folders.
The s entiment is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes

Happy Birthday Spring feel

Well we are finally having some spring type weather this week - suppose to be 50 for Easter weekend and may reach 60 degrees for a day on Monday.

Here is a card I had in my stash that I am sending to my Aunt as her birthday is next month. I got the envelope all labeled and stamped wait for April to begin to mail this card to her.

The layers are as follows
Red square is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
White base is then 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
The 4 designer series paper quares are punched from a 1 3/8" punch

The diamond (square) red layer is 1 5/8" square then layers with a two stamp flower (which I loath doing these kind of stamping as I can never line of the two stamps!) is a 1 3/8" punch as well.

Happy Birthday tone card

I received this image in a swap (It was stamped from Fresh Vintage) and ran it through the Sizzix Stampin' Up frame dies.
I stamped the sentiment using the same ink as the light blue SU card stock (even though the picture image looks like it's greenish blue). The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments punched out with a SU punch.
I then mounted the sentiment and image (on foam squares) onto the light blue cardstock sized at 3 1/2" x 4 1/4". Then mounted it again on the dark blue SU card stock at a size of 4" x 5 1/4". You will notice I used the retired SU ticket corner punch to add more details.

With the left over whisper white paper from when I cut out the image, I put it in the inside!!!

Card Swap

Here is a set of 12 card fronts I made for a card swap.
We were to primarily use Stampin' Up Products and it had to be at least two layers.
That I accomplished no problem!
It's a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base, with an embossed layer of white card stock.

The happy birthday sentiment is on 4 layers of card stock. The butterfly punch is layered above the pattern paper.

Birthday Card - SU and music sheet

I love this stamp set I got from Stampin' Up!
I stamped it on a portion of the double tag die from Sizzix/SU.

I wanted a add the music sheet to represent the song one would traditionally sing on a birthday :)

Birthday Card for my daughter

This card was a CASE and I loved the layout so much that this is my version using scraps!!
Love it! Got to keep the scrap pile down.
This card was made for my daughter who turned 22 last week.

The butterfly, the border punch, the flat back pearls and sentiment are from Stampin' Up. Most of the scraps I think are as well.

Simply Soft Birthday card

My daughter's friend birthday was yesterday so I am quickly getting this card I made this morning in the mail to her.
I used the Stampin' Up set Simply Soft to create this card. While it is very hard to line up the two stamp method - it came out ok.
I did some sponging for the sun and the clouds and grass. The image colors did not come out as they are in real life. Perhaps the lighting to camera to web just throwing it off a bit.

I added some Dazzling Glitter glue also from SU to the flowers though you may not be able to see it.

The inside I cut a strip of card stock to reflect the border punching I did to the top and added a butterfly.

Postage Stamp birthday card

I made this for my sister whose birthday is in a couple weeks, the base is concord crush Stampin' Up card stock as well as the postage stamps which I cut from a Spellbinders die.
I picked up this shiny tulle at the fabric store in which I cut a strip and tied a knot. To keep the tulle on I used a glue dot (love Glue Dots!)
The base white layer is a new Spellbinders Impressabilities which you run through your machine (I had to look online to get the sandwich for my Big Shot), then on the raised areas I used my Cat Eye inks to run along to capture the raised image.[You may have to click the picture to see the detail, camera is hard to pick up white and in artificial lighting)

Sentiment and punches are from Stampin' Up inked in Concord Crush as well added rhinestones for bling!
Thanks for stopping by.

Punch out flower and butterfly cards

Created these two cards this past weekend but I am just getting around to posting them.  Using my scraps from my Stampin' Up pile - these cards were created.

Embossing the white layer and border punched with the pretty lace trim. Using a 5 petal flower punch on one card and the Butterfly punch on the other, I punched out the flower then turned it and layered it back on with a foam dimension square.

The Butterfly card is a litle different in which I used stripped of scraps to cover the butterfly. Please click the picture for a better view.
The sentiments I used on both cards are from Teeny Tiny wishes which I layered on a couple more punch outs.
Here is the inside of the cards, again used some scrap whisper white card stock and some mini punched shapes.

Less than 15 min Birthday card

I am in the midst of studying but I really need to get some cards done and mailed tomorrow, so using Stampin' Up heart embosslet and some rhine stones I made a couple cards.
Here is one for my Mother in law. I hand scored the border using my scoring tool.
The Happy Birthday stamp is from TeeneyTiny Wishes
Here is a close up of the drawn emboss line and the sweet hearts.
