More Fairy Flower dolls

I love making these! I set out one day last week and made 14 more!

I start out with a strip of the fabric covered wire (approx 10 to 12 inches
Fold in half, add embroidery floss hair, slip it through a small wooden ball.
Fold arm by twisting the wire across itself.
Slipping on a flowered "dress" .

Sold a few of these at 4.00 each...hard to part with them so I kept one.

Mickey head bottlecap necklace

I am making these for an upcoming craft fair and selling them for $5.00.

I bought bottle caps that already had the bail on them to save time from punching a hole in the bottlecap or trying to add on a bail.
Using an EK Success one inch punch I punched various glitter paper and E6000 them to the caps and glued on the rhinestone Mickey heads.

I bought corresponding suede/leather cording and cut to lengths that they can be slipped over the heads, however I did finish them off with a sliding knot so they can be adjusted.

Red Sox bottle cap keychain

Using a bottle cap from Mike's hard lemonade, I bent the crimp out and ran it through my Big Shot to flatten it out.

Used my Crop-a-Dial to punch a hole for the chain to be put on last.

I printed the logo on photo paper and sized it to 1". Punched it out and glued it to the cap.
Once dry I added a glaze.

Jean bag accent

I used my bag last night at my crochet group I go to on Wednesday nights and the ladies loved the bag.
I also showed them another accent I did to dress up the bag. You can see the full version of the repurpose jean bag here.

I cut (approx.) a 6 inch circle of the left over jeans (leg portion) and hand stitched a running stitch along the outer edge of the circle. Pull the thread to create the yo yo. You will noticed I used the inside (reversed colors) so that it would show up on the pocket.

Then I created this bottlecap accent by gluing this image from etsy of flowers and birds, used glossy dimension to seal the top.
To get it to stay to the fabric yo yo I used E6000 glue and it took approx. 30 mins to set to where I could use a large safety pin and then pin it to the pocket.
It's adorable, I think :)

Red Sox Hair Bow

Sunday afternoon my daughter received a text that her friend got Red Sox tickets for next Tuesday's game.  My daughter loves bows and stated she makes bows for a lot of events for her hair.

Asking if I had red ribbon and the hair bow clips, I went to my stash downstairs and produced 4 clips (whew! as I did not want to go to Wal-Mart or Michaels). The only wired red ribbon I have is a sheer typed, but it worked ok. (I keep all my ribbon separated by color so that was easy to find.)

We took a couple of the Red Sox bottlecaps off the two last keychains I had left from Saturday and hot glued them to the bow, and which was hot glued to the clip.

Quick craft but effective. 
FYI: To ensure the bow stayed on the clip I did take a 2 inch piece of thin red ribbon and hot glued around the center of the bow and wrapped it around the metal clip prior to adding the bottle cap.
FYI: To keep the ribbon from fraying you can use Fray Check or clear nail polish. This kind you cannot use the lighter method as it distorts the ends.

Bruins Key chains

I made 5 of these yesterday afternoon in anticipation of game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. I'm not a hockey fan (just too fast pace, I enjoy football and baseball) but I do support all our Boston teams.

While watching the "sweep" game that evening, between making two lasagnas for the graduation gathering, these party favors are for a couple of the male attendees today. I am sure they will enjoy these little trinkets.

I downloaded image, used my one inch circle punch to make the perfect size to fit the bottle cap.
Punch a hole with my Crop-a-dile and added the key ring and clip.

Super quick and a perfect favor to take home. The Bruins are off to the Stanley Cup finals.

Red Sox Keychains

I made a dozen of these last night for my son's friends who will be coming to the graduation gathering tomorrow.

Wanted to give the young men  little favor to go home with, you may remember my candle jars for the other family members.

I punched a hole into the bottle cap with my Crop-a-dile added a photo glossy image of the Red Sox Logo and covered it with an epoxy sticker. Hung it from one of those clips you may see on zipper pulls as i did not have a lot of traditonal key chain material. Added the split keyring to hold it all together. Just a little something to hang off their car key ring or other sets of keys.

Bottlecap necklace with key charm

I love to make these quick necklaces, added an image from Etsy, used a bubble bottlcap seal - so much better than glue or other crystal effects/diamond glace... I have tried a few and will stick with using that method on dominoes.

But for now - quick and clean is how you can achieve with the use of the bubble stickers.

I added a key charm (handmade jump ring) and a pink chain both from Wal-Mart. Can't wait to wear it tomorrow!

DPhiE keychains

I made these for my daughter and two of her sorority sisters. This and the next items are actually post graduation gifts which I will be mailing today. Hope they like them!

 I printed the image onto photo paper, used my 1" circle punch and used a strong glue to glue it to the metal bottle cap.
I used a bubble (sorry don't know the official name) clear dome sticker to cover and protect the image.
I proceeded to use 7 links of a thick chain and placed it through the bottle cap and the key ring.
I bought some lobster claw charms from Wal-Mart in the sorority colors (gold and purple) and added them to the links for a little dangle accent. (Ignore the pink blur in the photo - my G2 cell phone is experiencing a white balance issue)
