2011 Calendar ideas

Hi All - this is a scheduled post as I will be on vacation for a few days.

I made this match book calendar from the pdf from Kaiser Craft.
As I played with the print options this is what I came up with:
You can use this calendar different way. As I experimented.....
If you leave it as is - One month per page - you can make a traditional wall calendar.
If you print 4 to a page - you can cut them to a fit the CD (for a future post still in my thought process)
If you print all 12 to a page (I had to set my printer to 16 to one page) you can make the cute matchbook calendars.

Here is my matchbook calendar. (finished size 2 3/4 x 2 1/4")


Rather simple! I used SU ink and paper. The rhinestones I just picked up at M's.

Desktop calendar sticky note gift

I made this to give out as gifts this Christmas. I am entering this in a contest at MAF

AFGC - Wk3 Altered Calendar

2010 and accents were cut from Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge at 1".
I created the calendar in excel after I found 2009 version on line. The left side is a pocket perhaps for stamps or notes.

Directions - tutorial for 2010 Bookmark Calendar

(Click the picture to then save and print)
1) Print the calendar as you see it. ** HINT** Print on NORMAL
2) Cut the calendar down the middle and trim each sides to 1/4 margin all the way around ** HINT** use my guide marks. You may have to trim just a little more off the left and right sides
3) Cut 2 pieces of card stock at 7 1/4" x 2 1/4", adhere each calendar piece to them
4) Cut the final layer of double sided card stock at 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"
5) Adhere each 6 month portion to one side of card card stock
6) Round the edges or angle the top edge of bookmark
7) Punch hole in top 1/4" down and in the row of W add eyelet and tie on ribbons and charms

2010 Callendar Bookmark

I created this bookmark as a gift. The bookmark finish size is 8 1/2 x 2 1/2

I created the calendar months going down both sides of the bookmark and mounted it twice on cardstock. The dates can easily be read by keeping to 6 months on each side.

2010 was cut from Graphically Speaking at 1/2"

White eyelet is placed at the top to allow me to pull two strands of yarn through, a couple charms adorn the yarn.

I created the directions in an Excel document and will post as a pdf soon.
