beautiful day

Well - today it is rainy here and dreary, but this card shows sings of spring.
The image is a digi stamp I had already colored and the flowers glued on. (this was in my saved pile) I added the striped yellow layer of pattern paper and layered it to the based green cardstock which was run through the Cuttlebug floral swirl embossing folder.

The sentiment which makes up one of the stems says "Hope you have a beautiful day".
I had this sentiment for a few years. I am not into digi stamping but this was cute.

How Beautiful

I love this digi and this sentiment. The chick digi is from Wink Wink Ink and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I am entering this in a few challenges
Allsorts - garden or park
Anything Goes Challenge - flowers
One Stop - where your sentiment is the main focus on the front
Pollycraft Mondays - nature
Scrapmasters paradise - color combo below

As well as the Alphabet challenge blog - which I just found!! This week was Q for quotes

Best Wishes

Made this card for our daughter. She is finishing her second year at NU in Boston. Her finals are coming up in a week or so.

The cute bear in the slicker is from Wink Wink Ink.
The layout is from Get Sketchy and the theme is for Quixotic Challenge and The Pink Elephant
The flowers and leaves is a 5 petal punch from Stampin Up and the border punch on the front is a new one I picked up at Michael's today for $5.00.
