Snowman hello

Created this card - yes I have started a weekly Christmas card creation - as I did last year to get my stash ready for December 1st when I mail out - about 40 Christmas cards.
Challenges helped me to create them weekly so BBtB this week wanted us to use the Snowman from Doodle Charms Cricut cart- one of my fav carts! I cut him at 3", the layout I used to complete this card is from DCRU

Martha Stewart felt snow flake morder and also the snowflake punches inside the card.
Rhinestone from Studio 18
Butterfly punch from Emagination
Sentiment by Inkadinkado
Background for base cardstock is the new snowflake Cuttlebug folder only released to HSN in the 5 x 7 size.

Joy... BBtB challenge

I followed along with Regina at BBtB challenge to use the ribbon cut on JOTS Cricut Cartridge
Base card run through the Herringbone folder, inside accent cs run through Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. Ribbon is from Stampin Up. I did not want to tie a bow to take away from the cut so I layed two ribbons above and below. The oval is cut with my Coluzzle in gold sparkle cs.
Ribbon - 2 1/2" - which is actually a creme color but shows up white in the photo (page 65)
Joy inside cut a t1 1/4" (Page 77) accented by a crystal

Celebrate Family

I am pre-planning a double layout for Thanksgiving. Wow - will be great - snap a couple pictures for each side of the layouts and pop them in and be done! No delay.
To help me accomplish this I use the sketch at Scrap sketch blog, At Crafty Catz we had to use the word Celebrate amd at Bitten By The Bug we had to use the cornucopia cut on PDDU Cricut Cartridge.
Here is the double page LO I did.
Here is a close up of the pages.
Data:
Pilgrim man - 3", Pilgrim female 2 3/4", Turkey on plate 3" (yes 3 inches), apple pie (which I'll be making 3 of them!) also cut at 3". Cornucopia cut at 3 and the fruit cut multiple items. All inked. I cut the green circle using my Coluzzle. The little scallops are actually Creative Memories mini cual circle punch. The glitter strips are from HSN. Oh yes, the Title is cut using the font (my fav) from A Child's year cut at 2".

I just love the bird on Indie Art cartridge - I cut her at 2".
I use some wonderful red "love" card stock to mount the bird on and ties it with green sheer ribbon by Stampin' Up. Added some wonderful light green rhinestones to complete the red and green birthday card challenge at Bitten By the Bug.

It's my sister's birthday Dec 15th - so this was perfect!!!
Inside was cut at 1" from Zoo Balloo.

Smile....

I created this card also for the BBtB grass cut from Walk in my garden Cricut cartridge challenge.
I cut the "petals" at 1" and the turtle at 2".
The inside turtle is cut at 1".
SMILE is also cut from doodlecharms - I think at 1 1/2"

Gobble Gobble

We had to use an animal on a card at Just Buggin' so I chose the turkeys on PPDU cartridge. The card is cut at 4 1/4. The turkeys were cut at 2 and 1 1/2 I believe.

We also were asked to use grass on Walk In My Garden which I cut at 1" for BBtB challenge
so I am entering this into 2 challenges

The leaves is a punch I had. Oh - the base card was cut at 4 1/4" from Wildcard cartridge.
Inside is also decorated - will post later

Hello. BBTB challenge

At BITTEN by the BUG Regina tempted us to a STORYBOOK....BIRD CHALLENGE
I do not have this cart - so I cut the bird out by hand.

I ran the bird through the D'vine Swirl Cuttlebug folder and inked him. Hand cut the branch and layered with paper flowers. The tag is a large Marvy punch inked and hand written HELLO. Added a tiny brad for the birds eye and mounted all on the fabulous Rustic DCWV card stock.

Peace

TIME FOR ANOTHER FUN CONTEST....................... at Bitten by The Bug
We got to use PEGGY LOVES VINTAGE designs. I chose the Angel of Music. (That's what I call her)

I printed her three times and layered pieces of her in multiple layers. (Arm and ruffle three times) (Dress and head was a double layer)

I used the music (Allegra) Cuttlebug Embossing folder on the base card as well as inside.
The cuts I used were from Joy of the Season (peace and music note).
Pearls accented the front. This was a lot of fun.

Our twin boys are in the 11th grade, so two challenges were perfect to get the 1st day of school LO's done. All cuts were from Locker Talk Cricut cartridge and this will be entered in the BBtB LOCKER TALKER.....DESK CHALLENGE where we had to use the desk cut on key # 21.
To help me get the LO's done - I use Scrapsketch September Guest Designer Sketch #10

Here is a close up of the cuts.

BBtB challenge - use the ribbon cut on Paper Pups

Head on over to the PAPER PUPS...RIBBON CHALLENGE...AND BLOG HOP at Bitten By the Bug. We are asked to use the ribbon cut on Paper Pups.
When I saw the cut - oddly enough I thought of a rabbit. Don't ask me why, but I just has to bend down the ribbon portion to look like floppy ears.
I will send this to my daughter in a few weeks once she is settled into college.

BBTB challenge - use WIMG card2/envie2 cut

I had to give this a whirl. At BBtB blog we had to cut a yellow envie from Walk In My Grden cartridge and also the accompanying card. (Mine cut at 4 1/2")

I embossed the top flap of the envelope (cut from SU paper) and the front of the card. The front of the card I ran brown ink over to bring out the embossing (Used Cuddlebug Victoria folder). I have been staring at this floral wide wire edge ribbon and thought this would be perfect to layer on the cover.

Added some flowers and a sentiment. A few rhinestones for bling! This will be going to my MIL for her birthday next month.

BBtB challenge - use scallop from Celebrations

Regina gave us a challenge to use the scallop from the Celebrations cart.
I cut one at real dial 2"
I inked and turned it on it's diagonal as the icon accent (cupcake)
The base of my card was using the Journaling embossing folder by Cuttlebug.

BBtB challenge - use a school theme cut

This was perfect as I was already in the creation stage of my good luck back to school cards. When Regina at Bitten By The Bug challenged us to cut a school image from any Cricut Cartridge.
This is what I chosed:
The pencil is cut from Locker Talk Cricut Cartridge at 2"
I create the sheep using Stampin' Up punches
The grass is a 1 1/8" piece run through the Herringbone Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

BBtB challenge - use the snowflake from Accent Essentials and Cuttlebug Spot use your favorite folder.

At Bitten By the Bug Regina challenge us to use key # 13 - the Snowflake from Cricut Cartridge Accent Assentials. And Also at The Cuttlebug Spot you can win the folder by creating a card and finding the blinkies.!!! Go to Challenge #42 : Spot the Cuttelbug Spot: New Cuttlebug Folders
I entered this card as well as since I am in the snowflake mood - this is my "cool" favorite folder to use on Holiday Cards.

I cut Image at 2 1/4" on mettalic board I bought at Michael's in the clearance section. The image as mentioned in the title is from Cricut Cartridge Accent Essentials.

I ran Stampin' Up white card stock through the Cuttlebug Snowflake folder and proceeded to hand cut with an exacto knife different areas of the double folded front panel.
I punch a whole in the card and the snowflake to allow it to hang.

I then cut another snowflake shape this time on the shadow feature and sponged it as a stencil on the envelope and the inside of the card.
The sentiment is from Leave memories.

I had this idea in my head for awhile - was not sure which cut or how it was going to turn out. I am pleased with this.
