CRAFT Challenge Blog submission

As July guest design team member at the C.R.A.F.T Challenge Blog I created this card using the image from Rick St. Dennis Silent Night. The challenge was Christmas in July.

What I did was print it landscape and proceeded to make a tri panel card.
The first panel I cut out the dome shape and colored with my SU inks and blender pen.

I added glitter to most of the image and to the inside sentiment (you may not be able to see it).
The second panel I used a Sizzix die to cut the holly and berries. This would be for the sentiment or note to the recipient this holiday season.
The last panel I ran through the SU embossing snowflake embossing folder and added a computer sentiment of Holy Night to go with Silent Night... Holy Night.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge Design Team July 4th entry

I have been asked to be a GDT for July on the C.R.A.F.T Challenge Blog.
Challenge 214 - 4th of July is Here comes the Bride/Wedding/Anniversary card or project.
I used the digi stamp "Resting on a Cloud" by HopeJacare and used the edges of my scissors to rough it up a bit. Inked all edges with brown as I was going for the vintage touch.
The border punch is from Martha Stewart which allows the pink from inside the card show through. I finished it off with a true dictionary sentiment "anniversary" and some flat back pearls.
Please join in at the challenge at the CRAFT Challenge Blog this week!

Entry as guest designer

As my last week as guest designer at CRAFT Challenge Blog - I chose this adorable image from The Stamping Boutique Store for the unusual Christmas challenge who is the sponsor this week.

I decided that the image would be great for to and from gift tags.

I printed them twice - once on blue cardstock and then again on white.
I added glitter to the "snow" bulb and for the cute penguin which I printed again on white - cut him out, colored and raised on foam squares.

CRAFT challenge 107 and OWH sketch

This week as I continue my guest design team spot at CRAFT challenge blog - I got the help of great sketch at OWH S&S. (see below)

I embossed the purple accent layer with the hearts Cuttlebug embossing folder. Hand sewn a running stitch to the orange accent piece. Added gems to the wonderful image from sponsor Aifactory who is this weeks sponsor at CRAFT challenge blog.

The sentiment is a tiny stamp from Studio G. I mailed this to my daughter who is in college to wish her well and love as she progresses through her summer semester.

CRAFT guest designer for Challenge 106

Hello as guest designer at CRAFT challenge blog for the month of June - I have created this card using the digi from Some Odd Girl. The prize they offer is 3 images of choice from their store so go check out CRAFT challenge and enter a father's day card.

The balloon was fun to color and I created a different color variety (you'll see another card later this week). I mounted it on foam squares and on vintage music sheets I picked up at an antique store this weekend. I inked all the edges with my dark brown Color Box ink.
(Too bad you can't see it - LOL)

CRAFT guest designer for Challenge 105

I was asked to be a guest designer for June at C.R.A.F.T
For Challenge 105 we were provided a digi by the Digi Doodle Shop who is the sponsor of this weeks challenge!
I chose the water spout as I love the vintage and oldness of it.
I colored the image with chalk and colored pencils, mounted it on Provo Craft pattern paper and used mesh tape as a layer as well. Found some old brown tone buttons and added them to the corner. (click the pic for a better view)
