Rosewood ColorkBok Scrapbook mini album

I picked up this pad of beautiful floral print ColorBok scrapbook papers at Wal-Mart for 5.00! I love ColorBok selections and creations.

Using my creation process of minis I went to town to create this using some new Martha Stewart and Spellbinders supplies.

Had some old silk flowers to tie the theme and papers together which I hot glued to the cover. Please see the video for more details if you like.

Hi folks, here is my 3rd in the series of simple but cute St. Patrick's Day cards.

Valentine Card 5 of 6

Here is the 5th in my series - it is a Z fold card - I should make more of these as they are a fun way to make an A2 size card. Just take the front of the card and fold it back to the crease.

 The cute vintage image is from Stampin' Up, Embossing with the Cuttlebug folder.
The inside sentiment is a Studio G stamp.

Valentine Card 2 of 6

 

Here is my second in a series, I'll post two more tomorrow!
This base is also A2 in size, the second layer is embossed with the Hearts Cuttlebug Embossing folder, the sentiment is one from my stash - I think a StudioG stamp raised on foam squares.
Another layer which is a border punch from Martha Stewart, wrapped in a silk ribbon and accented with two cherubs and a heart glittered sticker.

Butterfly Birthday wish card

Created this card for my daughter's friend. I used the Martha Stewart border and corner punch (hint cut the paper at 3 1/4"). Added vintage music paper (2x2) and rounder the corners.

Sentiments from Studio G stamps, the base embossing is a SU folder by Sizzix.
The butterflies is also an embosslet from SU/Sizzix.

CRAFT challenge 107 and OWH sketch

This week as I continue my guest design team spot at CRAFT challenge blog - I got the help of great sketch at OWH S&S. (see below)

I embossed the purple accent layer with the hearts Cuttlebug embossing folder. Hand sewn a running stitch to the orange accent piece. Added gems to the wonderful image from sponsor Aifactory who is this weeks sponsor at CRAFT challenge blog.

The sentiment is a tiny stamp from Studio G. I mailed this to my daughter who is in college to wish her well and love as she progresses through her summer semester.

Colour Create Easter card

At Colour Create they wanted to see Pink, Black and white

Here I stamped the Stugio G bunnies with black StazOn and mounted it on black cardstock and then raised it on foam squares on the bright fun pink card base.
I added some vibrant pink pearls too.

Get Sketchy - St Patricks Card

I made a couple variations based on the Get Sketchy sketch.

Less is More - one layer card

So I took on the challenge at Less is More blog to make a one layer card with flower or tree (hope shamrocks count if not I'll make another card - which I would love another challenge!)
I took the one layer meaning nothing but the base card! Hmm... I immediately thought I would make score lines into the base as a frame using my Martha Stewart scoreboard to take the place of another card stock or layer.

I did two lines around as the frame and then did my stamping. The sentiment and frog from Studio G. (so cute!)
Since I can't add bling I used my sparkle glitter pen and glittered up the poor little frog.
EDIT: I am told I could use bling! Just keep it to one layer - meaning cardstock I believe.
Yahoo - I'll go back and add green rhinestones to the shamrocks. hee hee

Added multiple shamrocks to the corner and inside of the card.

Also did some scoring around the inner sentiment.

Sophisticated Halloween Card

I created this sophisticated Halloween card for my MIL.
I used my brand new Tim Holtz pumpkin fade and emboss the SU cardstock. Inked and added bakers twine and some beads.

Stamp is Studio G.

Entering this in Cardz TV - Halloween card without using our Cricut.

Pink Fairy note card

I created this card with a few challenges in one
Pink at Cuttlebug Challenges
I used the layout and turned it from Practical Scrappers
And a photo inspiration from Frosted Designs
Alphabet Challenge S for scallops

I used the CB Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked it with my white ink
I cut the large scallop border from a MS punch
The pearls are from Michael's
The image is from StudioG

Feathers to heaven

My sister got a batch of chicks last Tuesday and "Sally" did not make it past 7 days. She was a cute little yellow chick, but she was not eating.

I made this card for my sister.

In memory

This is for a Cricut Card Fairy Mission # 651. In which a mom lost her son in a car accident. She is coming up on the one year anniversary and we were asked to make her a card with butterflies. You see, when sees these flying around it gives her a little peace.

Crochet Flower in pot Easter card

I crochets these 5 petal flowers in baby weight yarn, there is a bit if glitter that runs through the yarn

The flower pot was cut with Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge and added curled paper strips for the leaves

Iris pots Easter Card

As I was looking through the Walk in My Garden Cricut cart handbook, I knew I wanted to use the clay pots, but which flower. I was looking for a lily, couldn't find one - so I cut the Iris
The pots are cut as a border at 1 1/4", the Iris were cut at two sizes 2 1/4" and 3". All inked
The sentiment is a StudioG stamp

I used my new set of Stampin' Up stamps to complete this card along with the sketch at Create4Fun

Easter doll card

Here is another in my series, the doll is made from Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge cut at 4" the inside sentiment is from the Designer calendar Cricut cartridge cut at 1". I like the script on this saying, it allowed me to place in a curve.

I also used StudioG Flocking. this is the first time I used flocking. Placed it on the bunny slipper tails and the ears of the little girls hat.
I am entering this in a couple challenges, one at The Pink Elephant in which I used their layout and at Crafty Catz we had to use a fancy edge and a ribbon. The fancy edge is the Martha Stewart loop punch and the ribbon is the multi string like ribbon I bought at Michael's.
