Using up a few of my left overs, I created this note card. In my pile I had the strip of butterflies and the strip of swirl stamped piece.
I placed one of the butterflies on the swirl with a rhinestone as if to mimick the flight of the butterfly.
Taking the left over distressed doily from the previous card I layered over the Darice embossed base paper.

For you note card
The base card stock is from SU, very subtle yellow (sorry bad with the names they call the colors)
I stamped the hummingbird on textured cs to get the ripple effect as if it was in flight.
Sentiment and bird from SU as wells as the pearls

Bird note cards
I love the back ground papers I used, subtle and light for a sweet note or so.
The flower and bird punch are from Stampin Up
The Embossing folder is from Cuttlebug

Lace note card
Using the SU dots embossing folder, I embossed the front of this card, added the Doily Lace with liquid glue as a back drop for the dictionary punched scallop circle and the sweet bird. All Stampin' Up products used.
The inside which I did not photograph has a blank whisper white card stock which I trimmed with the scallop lace border punch. I left it blank to either have a sentiment for an occasion or to be used as a note card.

Leaves of wings
I have this wonderful embossing folder, just not sure why I had not used it - in so long!
I used the Stampin' Up border punch and the butterfly as an accent on the blue circle.
Simple sweet note card. I left the sentiment or occasion off for when I need a quick card!

Vintage note card
Using the same elelments as my friend to friend card, I changed up the size and layout a bit by using the foiled ebossed card that I picked up at the florist. It matched my card very welll and it added a little glitz as well. This has no sentiment as it is intended to be a note card.
I used the Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder to emboss the layer that the butterfly (Martha Stewart) was cut from
then put back on. The next layerwas border punch with Hearts punch also by Martha. Next was the note card from the florist (click the pic and hope you can see the beautiful artwork) next layer I used the old ticket punch from Stampin' Up.

4 step card note card
I was inspired by a card on Pinterest where a circle was the template, here I used a butterfly where I sponged just inside the template and stamped the image on top.
I punch the bottom to give it a fabulous edge where the original post on Pinterest did not. I then added a 3/4" x 4 1/4" strip of matching textured card stock.
Thanks and please leave comments so I may visit your blog or pinterest wall.

All items from Stampin' Up.
I'm making a set of 4 as a note card gift set. You can see the set and the holder.
Step one - hold template against base card, and sponge ink around the inner portions of the edged stencil.
Step two - remove stencil and stamp image over sponged shape
Step three - using a border punch, punch the bottom of the card front
Step four - cut a coordinating piece of card stock at 3/4" x 4 1/4" and glue to inside of card so the border peeked the color through when card is closed for mailing.
Hope you give it a try!

Daisy - weaved note card
Created this card per Doodle Palace in mind, this weeks challenge was to do weaving
I also was able to use all scraps!
Flowers is a Stampin' Up punch.
I then took the negative and used it as a stencil to embellish the inside.
Yellow ribbon from SU too. (Pulled off a card I didn't want it on and in my scrap bin as well.)
I believe the border punch is Martha Stewart. This piece was in my scrap bin too!

hi - faux stiched note card
Stamps by Amuse and ribbon from Michael's.
Quick note card to tie in the lime green and truly home made feel.
I may add glitter or rhinestones as I love to add bling!
Adding this to the One Stop Craft Challenge was sew simple and that is what this note card is!

Basket note cards for the fall
I just love the Doodlecharms cartridge.
I wanted to try the card icon - but... unlike the wild card cartridge - when you ask for 4" ... you get a tiny card... so I ask for 8" still a small card - in the size of a note card. Which is fine because that is all I'll be using then for - and sending "thinking of you" cards to the kids in college.
So if you set at 8" your finished card is 4 x 3 cute!
Here are the insides - click on the pic to see a better image
