Repurpose Fall Card

This card is a little rustic or vintage or repurposed.... (FYI the background card is not as pink as the camera picked it up)

I picked up 5 different fall colors paint chips at the Hardware store and ran them all through my big shot using Lawn Fawn leaves dies (love the cuts)
I ran vintage page of a book through a new background die from Tim Holtz / Sizzix to represent "wind"
Added some twine to the side and left this no sentiment note card to send to my daughter.

Leaves and twine

This card is not my traditional one as it's not often I stamp directly on the base, however I really enjoyed the outcome.

This is a set from Stampin Up. The sentiment as well.

Wrapped twine around a torn piece of solid cardstock. Cut out one of the stamped leaves and added random rhinestones here and there. This layout would also make a great masculine card.

Dollar Tree blocks into ornaments

I bought a box of 9 children blocks at Dollar Tree.

Spray painted them and drilled a hole in the top.

Added twine, lace, buttons, etc with my hot glue gun. Lastly I added the hook and twine to hang.

Twine wrapped wine bottle

I re-purposed this win bottle twice.
Last year I painted it white and added Epsom salts to the outside.  After 6 months or so Epsom salts fall off so it's only a temporary "craft". Most people think it's permanent but it will evaporate and fall off to a dusty mess. It's pretty for a period of time.

However this year, I took the wine bottle and a roll of twine and glued it around and around with Mod Podge. This took about 45 minutes and it stayed very well (it's been on my stove as an accent for a couple weeks now).
The tassel was hand dyed by my friend Louise and I hot glued it in place.
Added two wooden button and some jute and I think it came out super simple!

Paper Mache Box - tissue paper and beeswax

Ooohhh I love how this box came out. Using Beeswax and Tissue paper from Michael's I attached strips and ovals of the tissue paper to the box. Made a rossette and hot glued it to the top of the box.

Added flat back pearls to the key and the box cover lip.

All items I bought from Michael's craft store.
