Here is my creation. We were to use bright green, yellow, white and black. I am always up for a challenge.

BBTB challenge - use the Ice Cream image on Indie Art

So I was reading last night of this challenge, INDIE ART SOLUTIONS.....ICE CREAM CHALLENGE and got to thinking a few ideas. I got up at 6:00 A.M. and got to work.
Here is my creation - it is a Birthday Card. Not sure who the lucky person will be.

(the color of the scoops are pink, light orange and yellow. (They both showed up as yellow by the camera)

Bitten by the Bug challenge

Regina at Bitten by the Bug set a challenge to use the ring on Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge. (I may be too late in submitting - but I wanted to give it a shot)

So I created this with my daughter in mind. She is a camp counselor and left this morning for her 4th week (for a total 6 weeks). She is gone Sunday through Friday evening, which she returns home to get her laundry done and see her family and friends, not to mention to catch up the Red Sox games and her fav TV shows.

When she has completed her 6 weeks I'll pop this card in her bedroom.

Penny Black challenge - red white and blue

As I was reading Enfy's BLOG Going Buggy, once again she led me to an awesome challenge on Penny Black blog. Thank you En!
In celebration of July 4th here in US, we are to create a card or item using red/white/blue and a Penny Black image.

So - I took this as a personal challenge!
Here is my creation:


The pictures do not do the original justice. Perhaps clicking on the pics may show the card better.
I used sparkled glue on the butterfly wings, Cuttlebug "bubbles" embossing folder. The small hearts were a left over from a Cricut cutting that was in my pile and fit perfect!
Inside sentiment is a stamp from Michael's dollar bin.

Polka Doodles: Enfy's challenge

This week she explained to use that at Polkadoodle challenge blog - folks are to use fruit in a card and also a hidden feature.

So - as you may or may not know, I am always up for a challenge. Off to work I went. I wanted to do a watermelon, found one on the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge and had to cut multiple times. After an hour - I think I finally came up with a creation I liked. I used a StudioG sentiment as the hidden message. The back ground embossing folder is from Sizzix. Added seeds to the corners. Stampin Up ticket punched used in the corners.

Inside - inked and use Stampin' Up ticket punch to fall in line as the front of the card. TFL!
