Corner flip card
Saw this type of cut on YouTube and just had to try it
Take traditional card however on the front you put it in your trimmer at 3" and place your cutting blade at the 5/8" mark and cut down to the 3" mark.
Turn the card to the inside (traditional opening and make the cut again.
Flip the wedge you sliced down and you get the corner flip. Add a bit of adhesive to keep the flip down to the base. The pattern paper is 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Celebrate die card
Got this die in a surprise pack. Of the purchase price for the "surprise" box, not many dies I liked but thought I would give this a go.
Base card is yellow card stock and I placed two different colors behind the bottom flags. Raised the blue cardstock on foam.
Kinda cute for either male or female birthday card.

Double pillar step down card
To create a card to handle the star banner I had to devise a card that would showcase the stars.
After making a previous stair step card, I had to try to make one but in reverse.
Not too bad!
Think I'll use my creation more for banner type cards.

Center Stair Step Children under a Tree card
I had a quiet evening to create a bunch of random cards.
This was one of them that I just bought.
I thought - how can I get the tree to have more dimension so I used the Center Stair Step card technique.
I used the grass from Elizabeth Craft Design - Garden Bench die set
I used the tiny butterflies from SU Stampin up.
The leaves are a very old punch.
The tree is raised up on foam strips

Heart of a shamrock card
Using a floral swirl embossing folder I applied that to yellow card stock.
Took a SU heart punch to create the clover and the branch from the bird punch to make the stem.
Sentiment from SU, the label from Spellbinders

Quick butterfly thank you
I wanted to send Allison a thank you card and as I was straightening out my craft room I came upon this background cardstock already die cut from a Tim Holtz die.
I then came across the butterfly Martha Stewart punch I was thinking of selling so I ended up punching a couple of the butterflies in white and the green (base card color) putting the 2 elements together and loved it! Added a little pearls for a small touch.

Sandpipers on the shore
Made this card for a friend who just released his first solo piano video. I can't wait for his album to be released.
Anyways, it's called Sandpipers on the Shore so I was thrilled to make him a card..
Since I was at it I made 3 others.

the stamp set is from Stampin' Up and I just used a mask to sponge the sand and the sky! Super simple card. I layers the image on textured brown cardstock to replicate the sand.

Love is
I created a trio of little framed pieces not only due to Valentine's Day but also a favorite passage from the bible.
The sentiments I printed from Google search
I resized them to fit my opening in the cardstock / burlap covered frames
total size of frame is 3 3/4" x 4 1/2"
