Christmas Eve Party Gifts

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I made these to give to my family. Lots of fun to make - the Cricut MB and various web postings enabled me!

This is a classic! Package of hot cocoa, a candy cane (should be full size), some kisses, and a few mini marshamallows. (see below for link to print the label)
I found this on various web site - one to give credit to is ink, paper scissors (see below for web site)
I made the reindeer using the coluzzle for the head, Martha Stewart punch for the antlers, google eyes, and Creative Memories punch for the nose. I raise it using a pop dot. (See saying below) - Verse credit - unknown - found it on the web with other "poop" sayings.

We were awakened when we heard Santa call,
"Dash away, dash away, dash away all!"
But soon we discovered out on the front lawn,
Santa and his reindeer were gone.
With our little shovels, we started to scoop,
all of the droppings.....YUCK, reindeer poop!
So, then we generously filled you up a sack,
Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your snack.

Twas the night Before Christmas

This is too funny. I got this from an email.

Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.
I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace?
Or a Cricut, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that's when I heard him, "Hi Santa, " I said
"You know....good little girls should be in their beds."
"I know I should Santa, and now I've got caught.
But I was just so excited To see what you brought."
"Well, let's take a look in this room where you work."
He shook his head quickly,
And left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear.
"You've got enough crap, I'll see you next year!"

With Sympathy - folded tag

I needed a simple idea to make three Sympathy Cards tonight. As I perused my bookmarks of favorite web sites, it led me to http://patstamps.blogspot.com/search/label/Tag%20Punch%20Flowers I was intrigued by the folded tag option.

Since my base card was small and I found the only tag punch I had, I made a smaller - simplier design. (Click on the pic to see a larger version)

Another Joy card

I am on a roll - love my LO idea to create three accent squares and a hanging snowflake - this time I got my cording to do so.
All materials: Cuttle bug folders - love 'em! SU die to cut the word "JOY", cording is also from SU. To cut the square - this is a set from Creative memories.

Cheer -ful snowmen in a semi-circle

I wanted to use a half circle in my layout - I've been on a square kick... I used the CB embossing folder "swiss dot", a snowmen punch from Michaels Craft store and the "Cheer" is from Stampin Up die cut strip for the Big Shot - I ran it through my Cuttlebug Machine.

Triangle Tri-Fold - Birthday card

Made this for my oldest sister. Her Birthday is next month.
Directions
Cut a 3 ½ x 10 ½ piece of cs - base color
Cut 2 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ pieces of coordinating cs

Score the base cs at 3 ½ and at 7 - use bone folder for nice score lines
Score each end piece at an angel on both ends, keep both at the same angle (see 2nd pic)
Decorate one the the accented cs pieces (see pic above) this is the center square which I embossed with CB floral
Take the remaining cs square and cut it in 1/2 on the diagonal. Emboss, stamp - decorate as you like. Adhere those two triangles to cover - ends. - See 1st pic
Thanks to Dawn's you tube video!

Joy

Another try at white on white - I really like the effect. Cuttlebug folders used for the background and accents. I hand cut one of the snowflakes from the folder, punched it and hung it from the middle accent..SU die used to cut the word Joy in a plaid red cs. Hope you like!

Peace

I always wanted to do a white on white card. What better way than the cuttlebug embossing folders.

I also used the word strip from SU - that I ran through the CB to cut out the word Peace. I wanted it more golden - but this is what I achieved inking.

More pop-up/spring up cards

I enjoyed making the pop-up spring-up cards in the previous post, I thought I would make these for Kristen and her friends (Lauren/Kristen/Jennie/Marie) that are also in college. (Hope to mail them today)

Directions are in the previous post.
I used the Cuddle Bug embossing folders for the accents and some Martha Stewart ribbon on the orange/blue swirl cards. I struggled with putting a sentiment on the cover - as I thought it would have made it too crowded. Instead I wrote in the back.here is a close up of a couple of them.
