Created this cute birthday card for Violet. It was her 7th birthday and I finally got around to using this Stampin' Up Spinner die.
The channel around the cat (circle) allows the heart to rotate / spin around the cat image. Kind of cute and an easier way to the old spinner method having a die. All layers needs to be raised up so the pennies that are in the channel can flow or move freely.
(Created this back in September and just getting around to posting)

Gemstone flower birthday card
Using Stampin Up sentiment this became the center of this simple card.
Embossed a layer of white cardstock and added designer series paper to the bottom half.
Mounted that on pink cardstock wrapped in 3/4" yellow ribbon.
Flowers were stamped using the dab and rocked method and manually cut out and raised on foam squares as well as the sentiment.

Masculine Birthday Card
I made this for a dear friend's father. I heard he enjoyed the homemade aspects of the card.
I embossed the base card using the Tim Holtz French folder
Distressed a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of patterned paper
Stamped the image and sentiment from Stampin Up
Most layers raised on foam squares.

Hearts of leaves engagement card
This is a full size card and I embossed the red layer with Cuttlebug Swiss heart folder.
I purchase this Sizzix Sizzlits die off of fb for 3.00 and it came in yesterday and wanted to try my hand at making a heart as I saw a similar post using the SU branch die.
I added Martha Stewart double layered butterflies and a Stampin Up sentiment.
The sentiment is raised on foam squares and flat back pearls added.

Minion Birthday Card
I spent an hour and half the other night creating this card, I did use a template but had to cut it out and it is very large! Will not fit in a traditional envelope.
I made this for my nephew as his birthday is in a couple days and always like to make funny cards for my sister's children.
The sentiment is from Stampin" Up and I used sewing thread to hang it from it's hands. Rather cute, not my "thing" and have yet to see a movie.

Engagement Card
I was commissioned to make a couple engagement cards, here is one of them.
The requester wanted a larger than A2 size, so I took the standard 8 1/2 x 11 piece of whisper white cardstock and scored it directly in half.
Took a sheet of red cardstock and run it through twice in the Cuttlebug Swirls folder
The layer under the vellum is black cardstock embossed with the lines folder from SU, click the picture to see the black embossing. On that black piece I adhered two embossed red hearts.
Proceeded to Hand Calligraphy the couples name onto the Vellum.
The ampersand sign is a retired Sizzix die and I glued it to the Vellum and a tiny heart as well.
To hide the glue on the vellum and to keep it altogether I glued and wrapped the satin white ribbon.
Pearls and or rhinestones may be added based on the buyers request.

Re-purposed many items to make Thank You card better
The card below - I actually dissected a card base kit from Stampin' Up. I was not fond of the kit itself and re-purposed the white card stock and was left with this panel of hexagons.
The five hunter green hexagons are actually opened window pieces (which I saved the 5 pieces and will re-purpose those as well). I re-purposed the hunter green card stock actually from a file folder!
It is a very manly and textured folder (click the pic you should be able to see the linen texture of the green folder) I thought it played well with the color scheme on the hex card.
I then stamped Thank you off centered on purpose from Perfectly Penned stamp set from Stampin' Up.
The white top layer is actually raised on foam squares to add dimension.
I'll store this in my card box when I need a quick thank you card.

Get Well Wishes
Since I had cut a couple of these branch with leaves from the Sizzix die, I wanted to make a get well card for a friend.
I first stamped the sentiment from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes set, then embossed it with the lines SU embossing folder so it went horizontal to not disturb the sentiment.
Then I cut out the frame from Spellbinders wavy rectangles. (I got the set at JoAnn for 10.00 last fall!) and raised the frame on foam squares. (The pic was not taken at an angle to show the raised element). Then glued the branch for a simple elegant card.

Valentine Cards three ways
I re-purposed more paint chips into these cute Valentine Day cards for my three children
This one I mounted on black card stock and used a black sharpie to draw the "string". I used a lunch plate to make the perfect shape.
This card I used red card stock with the Little hearts also from the Stampin' Up Embosslit!
And the last one also in black, but in the portrait set up.
The sentiment is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes set.

Pennant Happy Birthday Card
In the spirit of re-purposing, I created this birthday card using paint chips from the hardware store and SU punches (pennant double punch) and Perfectly Penned stamp set.
Quick, fun card. BTW: I used a lunch plate to get the perfect arch to hang the pennants on.
Click on the pic to see the shimmer in the paint chips, makes a great masculine birthday card.
The pennants are raised on foam squares.

With Sympathy
I created this clean card and kept it simple
I started with die cutting the Sizzix branch with leaves die and working the layers back.
Using the retired SU ticket corner punch (which is one of my favorites for a little corner pizzazz) I punched the corners to add a little bit of a formal view.
Sentiment is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes, if you don't have this set, it is very versatile and well worth the investment

Trust in the Lord
I wanted to use these two new stamps and created this card which has multiple layers.
The Sentiment is from Stampin' Up! set called Trust God. The sentiment says: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
The flower image which I used two different SU inks is from JoAnn Craft Store Studio 112 collection.
I should have made the inner mats smaller as you can't see the embossing on the first white layer.

Wish
I created this card last night for my daughter who is starting her third and final Clinical for Physical Therapy.
I am very proud of her and hope her next 14 weeks goes well.
I scored using my Martha Stewart Score Board 1/4 inch then two more at 1/8 of an inch on the left fold and the top.
Using a Studio 112 stamp I picked up at JoAnn craft store for .50 I stamped the bird house and the two birds in Stayzon ink.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up 2005 set called Small Script

New Years card
I created this card for a friend, I used a Darice Embossing folder for the back ground.
The clock is a Sizzix Tim Holtz die that I raised on foam squares
I used the sentiments from Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny words set, also raised on foam squares.
I hand cut the little banner flags and wrote 2014.

simple thank you
I made this for a friends of mine whom I visited a few days back. I noticed she had a bike like this as a home decoration so I took the opportunity to make a card.
The bottom I first punched a Martha Stewart heart border punch on the white card stock.
Next I cut out the blue Spellbinders scallop octagon and ran that through the fancy swirl Cuttle Bug embossing folder.
Next I had a few of these bikes already cut in black cardstock (see the first card I made with it) so I glued it to the card and added some flat back SU pearls to the bike.
Closed out the design of the card with a little sentiment from SU Teeny Tiny wishes.

Sending Love
This sweet card was sent to my friend in FL. The embossing is a CB folder, the stamped image is from SU as well as the sentiment and label (raised on foam).
The butterflies were punches from shiny glistened paper. Rhinestones for bling, got to have bling!
The sheer ribbon is tied onto the first two layers for a gentle touch. Enjoyed making this quick card from a swap.

Warm Wishes one layer card
I created these cards late last night by just die cutting the Sizzix tree and cutting a piece of card board into the wave of "snow".
By first sponging the snow (blue ink) and masking the tree I was able to create the two layers of snow. Then removing the tree cut out and the snow mounds I put the negative tree cut out over the space and proceeded to sponge in the green and brown to make the tree.
The sentiment is one of those dollar bin wooden mount stamps at Michael's I had in my stash and it stamped beautifully clear!
I added glitter glue to the side of the tree and the snow layers and then accented the two cards one with SU flat back pearls and the other with rhinestones.
Inside of the card I sponged another layer of "snow" with the cardboard mask and blue inked sponge.

Formal Snowflake Christmas Card
I created these layers snowflakes using various snowflake dies, and wanted a different effect by mounting them on black card stock.
I'm calling it a "formal Christmas" (Ha ha)
I added one of those flat dot from Stampin' Up due to the layers in the snowflake as well as the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments. To keep with the formal theme, I used the retied SU ticket corner punch. I'm so glad I have one of these punches just for a little accent.

Grateful
I created two of these cards tonight by using the Always Thankful stamp set from Stampin' Up.
I double stamped the image using a brown and then a black ink pad.
I added a glitter gel pen to add glistening highlights. I was fortunate that the light picked it up in the photograph.
The sentiment is raised on foam squares and I used the little flat candy dots from SU as well.

Aperture Christmas Tree Card
I created this aperture card using the framelit die from SU. I die cut it from the old olive card stock to allow for the tree stamp (From Christmas Lodge) to show through.
The tree has 5 little rhinestones on it however the camera did not pick them up due to it being evening here.
The sentiment is cut and raised and accented with the rhinestones.
Simple but elegant. I am well on my way at completing the cards I need to mail on December first!
