My Pastor's wife gave birth to their 5th child, an adorable boy. He finally went home from the hospital and I took some time finally to create a card for them.
I had several ideas and different card styles but settled on this Tri shutter panel card technique.
The baby items are from two different companies, one is Elizabeth Craft Designs (pacifier, PJs and bunny) which I had won last month at the Expo, and the other is from Jilli Bean Soup Hampton Art (Bird, cloud, umbrella) also bought from a vendor at The Expo.
The die cut words were cut singly using a QuiKutz die.

I created this for Kehlsey as she passed her nursing exam!
Using SU butterfly die and Spellbinders swirls I wanted to keep this formal and clean.

Watercolor fall card
I'm still practicing watercolor stamp set, this card I made and sent to Danny as I know he would appreciate an artsy card.
Using Art Impression stamps, the trees were stamped in brown. The rest I free handed in the road and sky.
Since I've made this card a month ago, I have picked up some water color paints at Michael's and will give that a try.

Set of Halloween cards
I made this set of Halloween cards to be opened by the recipients in a staggered event.
I mailed all 4 and put specific dates for tgem to be opened...kind of like a surprise throughout the month of October.
Embossed with Cuttlebug folder and wanted some fun accents, using my 1" punch, punched out 3 circles.
Then using Martha Stewart spider web border punch, added them behind a couple of the apertures.
This second card is an embossing folder from Tim Holtz. I inked a little of the tree and added a spooky fence border punch and added a couple halloween dies that I tucked in.
This third one is the haunted house embossing folder from Cuttlebug, is added some Googlie eyes and Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch to the top.
The inside of the 3rd card I stamped a skeleton and added more die cards inside.
This last card for Joe and Kristen I included $20 for treats. I embossed with a weird funky skeleton embossing folder. Added drippy goo border punch pieces where I added single corresponding alphabet stamps to spell out "open if you dare ". Wrapped in green twine to hold their final treat to be opened next week!

Thinking of you copper embossed leaves
Using a clear block I rubbed 3 different colors of SU ink and spritz it with water.
Pressed the ink block on watercolor 140 lb cold press paper.
Took copper embossing powder and sprinkled it on these leaves and heat embossed.
Glued the image to recycle calendar pages as I like the bright red and brown colors.
Sentiment and punches also from SU!
Made 3, mailed 2 to Kelsie as I didn't get to visit this week and the other to her parents.
