Etched mug Do Your Job

With our Patriots playing in the Superbowl tomorrow, I took time last Saturday to etch this mug.
It's difficult to get a picture of glass, however using contact paper and a printed image from Google, I hand cut with an exacto knife the phrase and logo.
Placed it on the mug (prepare your glass by cleaning it with rubbing alcohol).
Weeded out the main pieces and then layered on a thick amount of etching cream. I waited 15~20 mins, washed off the cream and peeled off the stencil. Unfortunately you can only use the stencil once.

Let's go Patriots! Do Your Job!

Candy T-shirt

My daughter's dance team needed to decorate their clothing so using my Cricut I finally got my chance to do the "vinyl" method!
She asked for lollipops (Cut from Mickey and Friend Cricut Cartridge) and mint candy cut from Very Merry Tags which I cut from Contact paper (cheaper than vinyl) and this allowed them to stick it to the clothing with the following results.
She did a great job placing the little pieces of the candy to get the right effect and also the swirl in the lollipop is a separate piece.

Can wait for the dance show next month.
