Hot Air Balloon

After seeing someone make a hot air ballon on Pinterest with no directions....I set forth to create this for Julia's 7th birthday as a special sort of card.

Started out with 4 (two layers) circles and glued them to a skewer. Glued 1/8th ribbon for the tethers.

Covered a plastic spool with scrapbook paper and secured the ribbons and added bows.

Added a scalloped circle for the base.

Lastly added the sentiment to the front.

It was a big hit at the party.

Made about a dozen of these for my up coming craft fair.

I will be selling them for 2.00 each.

Dangling Snowflake from beaded spool

Made a dozen of these for my craft fair, I covered spools with music sheet, added glitter (you can't see) the the ends of the spools.

I added two crystal beads to the clear string in which the snowflake dangles from. Will be sold for $2.00 at my craft fair next month.
