If you look at all the icons on the Cricut cartridge A Child's Year you can get some good cuts and ideas from it.
I cut the Pilgrim hat at 3" - layered to get the black shadow behind it and used my Sakura Glaze pens for the buckle.
I added the "top note" cut from Accent Essentials cart also at 3" to enter my card on Glue, Scissors, Paper and also at Cuttlebug Challenges
Sentiment is from Stampin' UpI accented the background with the script folder. Added a button and martha Stewart punch.
