I love how this cute pink baby card came out.
I used scraps of pink paper I had in my stash to make the bassinet with my Spellbinders scallop die.
You can see the other bassinet card I made here.
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, the label is from Spellbinders. Love how fancy the laebsl are!

Baby Card #2
This is the second card I made at the request of my sister. See the post below for the first card I made.
It's a smaller note card set from Stampin' Up.
I started out by embossing the base of the note card and the envelope flap with a flourish embossing folder.
Then I glued on the yellow border strip - also a Stampin' Up border punch.
Using the fancy thin die (SU!) I cut the teal and white card stock which I glued and raised on foam squares.
Keeping this simple I stamped the cute for baby image from Stampin' Up set Everyday events, added a couple SU tiny flat back pearls and this quick card was done!

Baby Card number 1
My sister asked me to make a couple baby cards. I also needed to make a baby card that was long over due! This and the next two post are the ones I made on Saturday.
I used a spellbinders die to cut the scallop lace circle. Then cut it in 1/2 at the 9 bump mark.
Glued the two together to make the bassinet.
Added the border punch yellow lacy border from Stampin' Upto the sides of the bassinet. To make the wheels I used a Sizzix die to punch the circles and added yellow eyelets. Glued it to the base of the card which was run through the swiss dot embossing folder from Cuttlebug.
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up which I used the new Spellbinders labels!! Love them!!! and also raised on foam squared.
I made a pink version which you can look at here.

Manly Retirement card
Another co-worker of mine retired and since he was previously in the Navy some 20 years ago, I added map printed scrapbook paper depicting the sea and a compass.
The double embossing is done by Stampin' up Sizzix Embossing folders.
The compass brad is from Oriental trading.
I think the pattern paper is also from Stampin' Up. (It was in my scrap pile so not sure).
The sentiment on the cover is from Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes and the inside sentiment is from Michael's dollar bin from years and years ago.

Hi Card - scrap pile card
I am calling this my scrap pile card, as I generally die cut or punch more than what i need for a project.
When making this weekly card for my daughter, I looked through my pile of previously cut pieces of cardstock and came up with this quick cute card.
The background is embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder my daughter gave me, the cream color piece is border punch using Martha Stewart doily punch (my fav!)
The large flower is also the large border punch from MS, I added different flat back pearls from Stampin' Up

15 Min Happy Retirement Card
Glue the Butterflies (embosslet) and added phone stone. The Happy Retirement saying is from Teeney Tiny Sayings stamp set.
Less than 15 min Birthday card
I am in the midst of studying but I really need to get some cards done and mailed tomorrow, so using Stampin' Up heart embosslet and some rhine stones I made a couple cards.
Here is one for my Mother in law. I hand scored the border using my scoring tool.

Quick 15 min card
I only had a few minutes to create this card this week but I wanted to send my weekly (well sometimes i miss a week) card to my daughter in college.
She started her 5th year fall clases Wednesday and this is the card I sent to arrive that day.
I scored the base card with my scoring tool three times down the left side, stamped the SU image with three different Stampin' Up inks. Used the sentiment raised on foam squares and punched using a punch also by Stampin' Up. Added the tiny sticky back pearls to give more accent to the card.
Quick simple and made it just in time for the postal to be picked up!
