Business Size Mini Album

I made this mini album this weekend using My Minds Eye paper stack and junk mail business reply envelopes.

Here is the video with details.
Take 4 business size reply envelopes that were 8 1/2" x 4. I scored each one at 2 1/2" to make two pockets.
Once I covered each envelope, the pull out pocket mat was 8 1/2" 3 3/4" and then scored at 6". I used a deep Martha Stewart border punch to add more details to the page.

The photo mats are 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" inked and used a SU punch as a pull tab. (It's retired punch but the best tab punch out there!
Hope you give it a try!

Last week as Guest Designer at CRAFT

Hello all,
Here is my entry as Guest designer for week 109 at CRAFT challenge blog with the theme of gardening. Its been great and enjoyed the challenge and items from those that sponsored the weekly challenges.
This week we were asked to use a digi from one of our sponsors The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs. and you can also enter to win digis from the second sponsor Crimson Cloud,

I used a new Martha Stewart border punch I just picked up as a border for the cover as well as the inside.

For the cover I lined it with the border punch, a pattern paper from Provo Craft. Added a die cut (Spellbinders) music sheet and topped it off with a swirl from Tim Holtz. The Butterfly is the digi I colored cut out twice and glittered the top later. Added a Prima flower and a stickpin under a gem. This card was fun and quick to put together.

Z Fold card

I love different types of folding - but often go with the plain old fold in half card.
This week at Paper Playtime - we were to do a Z fold card. Here are some great directions from Georgiana. Also folding was a criteria at Craft Catz "fancy Fold" challenge.
I followed her directions and to the front I inked a Prima flower and include a Basic Gery half pearl (bling challenge at Craft and Me). Also added a Tim Holtz swirl inked and a sticker sentiment from K&Company to the front for the challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge.
To the inner layer I added a journaling tags (Stampin' Up punch) for Frosted Designs challenge. There is also Martha Stewart ultra fine glitter on the MS butterflies and folded up for dimension.
After designing this - I think this will be a part of the mini album I am making, I am pleased how this turned out!

Multilayer card

The base of this card I cut with my oval coluzzle on the fold to form a card, I then ran the top portion through the Cuttlebug folder.
The butterflies were cut with a sizzix die and run through the CB - the folder I used is from SU (Finial). I added the silver metallic flower stamen as antennae.
Added some Michael's pearls to the middle of the butterfly and added Prima flowers and more gems as well.
The inside (I did not photograph) says Congratulations.
I am entering this into the following challenges
Kaboodle Doodle - lots of layers
Crazy4Challenges - flowers
Daring Cardmakers - darling bugs of May!
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes

Guest Designer entry

Hello All,
Hope you all will play along with Week 88 challenge at C.R.A.F.T. blog where I am guest designer this month!
Their give-away for the challenge is from Susie Sugar of Diecut Dreams! You can see the give-a-way shown below. It is "50 piece Valentines Die cut Cupcake kit, cut in yummy Romantic Red, Hot Candy Pink and Pure White quality card."

I have to tell you - I love the die cuts and quick shipping from the UK to the USA!
Here is my guest spot with the birdhouse die I bought from Susie! I bought a pack of the birdhouses, some cupcakes and chipboard keys!
For the flowers I used Prima and iRock bling. The sentiment and oval punches are from SU!. The leaves are also from SU - the two step Bird punch.

Above is the inside - I used a bit more of the EK Success border fence punch, more Prima flowers and my iRock for the centers.

Miss you

I created this card after seeing one at 5 Inky Fingers.
I enter this in a few challenges and one at Paper Playtime is miss you - so I thought the layers punches would be perfect.
The other is dots at Simon Says Challenge with Primas (so glad I have a lot and the colors too!)
Color Scheme at Colour Create Challenge using HOT PINK, WARM ORANGE and SAFFRON

I used MS and SU border punches. The Tag punch is also from SU. The background polka dots paper is from Provo Craft. This is a quick card and I am glad I saw it on Toni's blog.

Dressing up a candle

I love to re-purpose and dress things up especially when we have all the items at home.
Here are my directions for a candle - you can get these anywhere.
First take the label off - mine was real easy - thank goodness!
Because mine is a 3 oz candle I cut the Basic Grey pp at length of 9" or 23 cm and the width at 1 1/4" or 3.5 cm. I ran it through the Cuttlebug and inked it.
Because I wanted this to stick very well to the glass, I used the sticky "red" tape. You can use glue dots or a jewelry adhesive I propose.
To decorate the top - I punch a 1" circle with my Creative Memories Circle punch. Added Prma flowers and a rhinestone.
Added ribbon and a hand made hat pin to the bottom base of the candle. And to finish the top, a tag around the Primas.

Gift ideas - etched glasses and a candle dressed up

My neighbors birthday was this week and I wanted to make her a few items.
I bought 4 glasses from a local store and etched them with the stencils from Cricut Blackletter Font.
The Letter G is cut from vinyl at 1 1/2" and the swirl was cut at 1".

The candle is a 3 oz (small) one I picked up at the same store as the glasses. Added some paper and ribbon and bling.

Directions for the glasses are here.

Hope you have a beautiful Day

This digi is a freebie from Maria, the sketch and challenge also from Maria at SPS

We had to use all scraps and nothing new in the way of supplies.
