Card Swap October Monochrome Celebrate card

Here is a simple but sweet card we made last month at a swap.
Love the purple!!!! and the butterfly is also my favorite die embosslit from Stampin' Up.
Cuts about 6 little butterflies and embosses them too with different patterns.

The middle butterfly is double layers and all have flat back pearls as accents

Swap birthday card

I participated in a swap with a few ladies at our monthly card group, last month and this is the card I created using Stampin' Up products. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Sorry for the blurry pic, but you can get the gist of it :) I hope.

I rounded the bottom of the card for a different element and added glitter glue to the cherries.

Swap card made

We had a shoe-box swap at Elaine's last night.
This is the card I made with the Wetland Stampin' Up set. I just got in on Monday and immediately had to make a masculine (universal) card!

I can't wait to try other techniques as seen in Pinterest and Google with this stamp set.

Card Swap

Here is a set of 12 card fronts I made for a card swap.
We were to primarily use Stampin' Up Products and it had to be at least two layers.
That I accomplished no problem!
It's a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base, with an embossed layer of white card stock.

The happy birthday sentiment is on 4 layers of card stock. The butterfly punch is layered above the pattern paper.

Mini Album swap

I am in a mini album swap on a different forum.
I made this for my recipient. I hope she likes. I mailed it a couple days ago so I think she may have received it already.

Here is a video showing the box that it holds as well as the page elements.

Stick Pin swap

I entered into a stick pin swap at CDAC. I selected the 4th of July swap of Red white and blue. So last night while watching TV I made these up. There are 6 people to a swap and you make three pins for each member 18 in total.

Disney Swap

I am in a Disney swap on the Cricut Message Board and have mailed these - a week ago to the hostess.
I can't wait to get the other images back.
The premise was to add these to some sort of lunch box (per the hostess)... but I will probably turn them into cards or use the Disney cut outs on a scrapbook page.
The images had to fit exactly as directed to the hostess and boy was Chip hard to piece together because to get him to fit - he was laying down and the pieces were oh so tiny!

Journaling box swap

On the Cricut MB I enterred into a journaling box swap.
I first enterred one spot - then the hostess needed "sngels" to cover for people who dropped so I ended up with 4 spots.
I didn't mind as there are so many icons and cuts you can pick from the Cricut cartridges.
Halloween treat bag from Doodlecharms cut at 4" inked, pop dot up and glittered
Present cut from Doodlecharms at 3" and it includes the tag (maybe for the date or year)
Banner from Mickey and Friends layers and inked and I added a loose ribbon through the holes for whatever they user would want - cut this at ~4"
Ornament from Joys of the Season cut at 4" inked glitter and Stampin Up ribbon again loosly tied so user can do what they would like.
Of to be mailed today.

Paper doll swap on Cricut MB

These are the items I made for the paper doll swap. We were to choose a figure from the cart. I chose the holiday group, and picked the ghost (4").
Because he was relatively easy to make - I made a fence (4") for each in my group. (group 3) (You will get two separate pieces)
The crow was cut at 2 1/2" and the spider at 1 1/2"

Don't they look great together for a LO or a card!

TPI's - Tags plus Inchie swap

So Kopperhead on the message board has us all addicted to inchies, she came up with an idea - hey we all like tags, we are all crazy over inchies - why not combine them! She coined the phrase - TPI - Tags plus inchies! (This swap is on the Cricut Message board)

I am in her Grand Finale Swap "Lucky Seven" swapand with all this rain - I started them last night and finished them this morning and will mail them today. We could interpret "&" any way we want. Mine is 7 elements to the tags.

We each took a group of 7. I did two sets.

Inchie swap - from Cricut MB

Well - I jumped on the inchie craze. You say ... you haven't heard. Google and you'll get cool info. Anyway - it's a little image - about an inch in square and you scene it up - like a mini SB page - or at least that is how I envision it.
On the MB at Cricut.com a member wanted to do a swap with tags and inchies.

Here is my submission - we had to make 20 and our theme was "wings" anyway we wanted to interpret it.

I used card stock for the base of the tag from The Paper Company (nice thick CS) (I cut mine to 3 1/2" x 2"), I inked the edges with chestnut Roan ColorBox ink calk pad.

Diecut the angel wings/heart from Sizzix. Love it! Got it in the clearance bin at ACM. Inked the edges with yellow.

Now for the inchie.... multiple layers here.... first layer on the bottom - 1 1/4 inch sqaure of yellow/green pp and crimped it - fun! Then punch a 1" blue square (CM punch) and placed that on top. Using the Friskar border unch - I cut the diamond border in green cs and glued that down. added a little paper blossom (bought from Oriental Trading).
Lastly I used the phrase "wish" from Stampin'Up

FUN FUN FUN - wish I signed up for another theme but..... will be going on vacation and need to get things in order.

State Swap organized by Molly CB MB

Well I finished!
52 of us - well some did more than one ... we all picked a state or two, the cover and the back to make this State Quarter swap and album.
The States cartridge was used. I did not have the cart so Molly did the cuts for me and mailed them to me a few weeks ago. I glued and glued and now I am done.

Card swap entry

I entered a card swap on the Cricut MB. We signed up for a topic and were required to make 16 of the same theme cards. I chosed Happy Birthday - Teen girl.

Here is what I will be mailing to the group.
A2 card in white, CB Happy Birthday and cut at 1 1/2 inch strip or 2 " square.
Mounted using glue dots on pattern paper.
I used CM punch to cut an aperture in the lower right corner. This shows a birthday cake through the front. Inside left blank for new owner to write what they like.

I joined a Tag Swap on the Cricut MB. This was fun - I almost didn't want to mail them. LOL

Can't wait to see what gets swapped. I used the JOTS cart - on the tag option. Various colored cardstock, fine glitter, glitter pen and snowflakes to dangle. Hope all enjoys the variety.
