Hi, I love your tissue boxes! Could you please tell me how you made it, if you don't mind. I have been looking to make several for my daughters pre-k teachers. It is such a perfect gift. I am doing a teachers kit. Lotions, handsantizers and this would be just an added perfect bonus. Thank you

Kendall, I had to use two 12 x 12 sheets. This is how I cut them down. each are the same cuts, you just rotate one.
Cut each 12 x 12 down to 9 1/2 x 9 1/2
Cut a corner portion off that is 5 x 5 of each piece
You now have what looks like an L
Score/crease the pieces to itself - fold up each "side"
You should now have two pieces exactly the same.
Rotate one so that the middle of the "L" are on top of each other.
Take the oval punch out piece from your tissue box you bought and temporarily glue it to the top.
Trace and xacto knife the piece out.
This is your opening for the tissie to pop back out
Glue the two top pieces together so that they form a "X" shape
Decorate each side flat
Stand up the piece and slip it over your tissue box. One box I punched eyelet holes, the other I used large die cuts to seal each side.
At some point I'll create a pattern for my design.
If you use the design - please give credit to me and my BLOG - as this is my own creation. I scoured the internet and no one had directions using paper. I found cloth - but no paer. LOL. Email me if you have any questions.
