I am in a mini album swap on a different forum.
I made this for my recipient. I hope she likes. I mailed it a couple days ago so I think she may have received it already.

Here is a video showing the box that it holds as well as the page elements.

A fish of a friend

When I saw Jackie Topa create this kitty hanging on a fish bowl - I had to try my hand at it.

I sent this card to my daughter and she got it today and loved it. You see the story behind this is, she had a fish last year and our cat managed to scoop it out but we saved it!

So when I saw Jackie's card I just had to make it! I had to make my own fish out of a few different punch pieces, I think Jackie's was drawn in. My kitty was made up from smaller punches but I think he came out cute.

Excuse the quality of the image above as in my haste to mail it to my daughter yesterday I forgot to capture a picture - so my daughter snapped it tonight at her place with her cell phone.

Stick Pin Swap with a handmade tag

Hi all, You may have seen these when I first posted them. Well I mailed them yesterday and included a butterfly tag.

The Tag was hand cut and the elements and layers were as follows.
Inked the edges with Colorbox brown ink
Stamped the Martha Stewart butterfly in blue Stazon
Glimmer misted the fabulous red/pink over the butterfly (waited for it to dry)
Use blue Stickles and highlighted certain portions of the butterfly (wait to dry)
Added little Recollection Pearls to the antennae.
To the top - I used my Crop-a-dile and punch the hole and added some fun yarn fibers.
Just a little something extra and glad to have mailed them on Friday.(click pic to view all the details)

Yard sale bottle into a crafty creation

I bought 5 of these (different styles) at a yard sale for 50 cents a piece. I knew I wanted to add beads to them - or maybe alcohol inks and glitter.

Well - for my first one - I tied wire to the top of it - added a charm here and there, inked and placed a couple rub-ons right on the glass.

I glued various beads in place to the wire that winds around the bottle.

It was experimental - and have other ideas for the remaining 4. For now it stands empty - but I would like to fill it with colored sand or colored beads or mini marbles... hmmmm still thinking

Multilayer card

The base of this card I cut with my oval coluzzle on the fold to form a card, I then ran the top portion through the Cuttlebug folder.
The butterflies were cut with a sizzix die and run through the CB - the folder I used is from SU (Finial). I added the silver metallic flower stamen as antennae.
Added some Michael's pearls to the middle of the butterfly and added Prima flowers and more gems as well.
The inside (I did not photograph) says Congratulations.

Wedding card - hearts are the key elements

You've probably seen this technique from SU - but we made this at a recent workshop and it was perfect for a wedding I needed it for. To make the groom element - you actually punch out a black and a white heart. Trim the white piece to a Little V section. Add a bow and some buttons (marker) Raise it on foam squares. For the bride element punch out one white heart, run it through the Cuttlebug D'Vine swirls embossing folder and add three pearls. (click the pic above for a better view)

Summer thoughts

I created this card for my daughter as she is starting her summer session at the University by using the LO from OWH Stars & Stamps and the theme of punches at CRAFTS and ME

My base layer however is a border punch edging all the way around (Martha Stewart)
I use adhesive chipboard pieces for the flower and sprinkled glitter on them as well.Link
The inside I used a matching piece of pp that I used on the outside.

Medallion accent wooden photo holder

I made this last night for my SU friend.

I painted the cube first with brown acrylic paint, then glued 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" pattern SU paper. To seal the paper to the cube I Mod Podge over all 6 sides. On the wire I added some SU beads from an old "Pretties Kit". For the center accent I cut the band papers at 3/4" and 1/2". Glued them together and attached. The medallion was originally cut at 1" and scored with my Martha Stewart score board at every 1/4" and then glued into a circle added a silk flower also from the kit and hot glued it to the front.

My friend can use this to display her cards for an upcoming class.

Mother's Day card

Stampin' Up products used for this card - I added some glitter highlights to the flower to try and jazz it up. The photo does not show it.

Since I couldn't find my one and only Happy Mother's Day stamp - I had to computer generate the font which I then punch out with a couple SU punches.

Inside is stamped with blue Stayzon ink
I added a pocket to the left side of the card to hold a couple gift cards I picked up for her.

Doggie Thank You's

I was asked by my SIL to make a couple thank you cards for their vet.
Here I cut the dog image from Cricut cartridge Paper Pups.

This one I ran the pillow through a Sizzix embossing folder and used a tab punch on the corners of the sentiment block. Sentiment is from StudioG I believe.
Inside layered with the same paper on the front to allow for their writing.

This one the dog was also cut at 3", pillow de-bossed as well with a different folder, I double punch to make the border and the stamp sentiment if from Stampin Up.

Bridal Shower card

This was the gate fold card I made for a bridal shower I went to a couple weeks ago and forgot to post.
Her colors are blue and white with a hint of pink.
The heart border is a Martha Stewart punch that I doubled in layers and colors. The doves were from the Wedding Cricut cart cut at 3".
The inside sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

Graduation Invites

Our twin boys are graduating this year from High School and these are the invite cards I made (with the help of my daughter who was home from college for a couple days)

I used Locker Talk Cricut cartridge to cut the graduation cap at 3". The phrase was cut at 2 1/2" from Beyond Birthdays. The cap is raised on foam squares for depth.

Added a couple black heat glue on rhinestones that were made for clothing - but I used by iRock! to glue them on. (tried to keep it manly)
