I was so excited to buy this Disney Cinderella Carriage die off of fb a couple months ago as I had my daughter in mind.
She is a HUGE Disney fan and after several thoughts on what type of card I was going to make her - I settled on this 3D
Trying to get the layers to line up precisely was a little tricky. You see... when you lay the card flat the middle frame lays perfectly over the mat on the last section.
The Happy is hung only by the "h" on the frame panel and the Birthday is glued to the back mat.
This card took some time and lots of thought however I am please with the outcome.
Happy Birthday to my daughter! <3 p="">3>

3D Halloween Card Gate Fold card
I had to come up with a unique card for Joe. He loves Halloween so I spent hours thinking, creating and gluing various die pieces.
The gate actually bows out around the hand cut headstone pieces.
The tree is partially glued down so that it will pop out a little.
The front of the gate fold card has the spider web and spiders crawling down for more of the 3d effect.
I just bought this die set at Micheal's with my 60% off coupon - not bad for 5.50!!!
Here I am trying to hold down the gate folds so you can see the effect. Hope he enjoys!

Pop Up Box Card
This is my first card of this kind and I wanted to make it for my daughter. She is now a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and starts her job today! So proud of her.
Measurements and directions from from Split Coast Stampers
Start with a 8 ¼" x 9" of card stock
Score at 2 1/8, 4 ¼, 6 3/8, and 8 ½ across the long side
Turn
Then score down the short side at 2 ¾
Cut this piece down to 6 inches, so what you have left is the box card piece of 6" x 9"
Take the piece you cut off (left over is 2
¼ x 9") and cut it to 3 1/8". So you have 2 ¼ x 3 1/8" piece and then cut in ½. These two piece will be the inner separators to be able to attach your pop up designs. (In my case it was flowers and the sentiment)
Take the 6 x 9" piece and cut up to the score lines to
make a box flaps
Fold down only three flaps so you have a solid back with
the tab and it forms an open type box
Take the little separated pieces and glue them inside the box to separate the flower elements.
I made a belly band 2 ½" not shown

hanging glitter snowflake
At the Cuttlebug Challenges hourly Christmas challenges - we were to create a couple snowflake items. One is this 3D ornament. The next is a card which will come in the next post.
I did not have the CB one that was mentioned but I did have a rather large one from Sizzix.
I glued 3 together and ran satin cording to hang. Now only to keep this safe for a few more months!
