3D birthday card

Made this quick card with a new die set. The circles cut and released very nicely!
They are a set from Spellbinders.

 I cut the name out with a single die from Quikutz.

The sentiment is from A Time for Memories.
To make the folded base card start with 8 1/2 x 5 1/2". Score at 1" 2" 3 1/4" 4 1/2" and 5".
Her birthday was Wed and I gave it to her yesterday at her party with a chapstick key ring, a flower gel pen, a domino necklace and some chocolate pretzels.

Birthday Card Disney Cinderella Carriage

I was so excited to buy this Disney Cinderella Carriage die off of fb a couple months ago as I had my daughter in mind.
She is a HUGE Disney fan and after several thoughts on what type of card I was going to make her - I settled on this 3D

Trying to get the layers to line up precisely was a little tricky. You see... when you lay the card flat the middle frame lays perfectly over the mat on the last section.

The Happy is hung only by the "h" on the frame panel and the Birthday is glued to the back mat.
This card took some time and lots of thought however I am please with the outcome.

Joe's birthday was Monday and this is a quick card I made for him.

I used the cuttlebug stars embossing folder for the background
I used the Sizzix guitar for and die cut a scrap piece of cardboard
Used Sizzix happy birthday die for sentiment from a paint chip
Quick n easy and used left over scraps of material

Birthday card Fall Theme

It's my Sister's Birthday today and since I cut 5 different paint chips the other die with the 5 leaves die this is the second of 3 cards I made with the various leaves.

Spinner Birthday Card

Created this cute birthday card for Violet. It was her 7th birthday and I finally got around to using this Stampin' Up Spinner die.

The channel around the cat (circle) allows the heart to rotate / spin around the cat image. Kind of cute and an easier way to the old spinner method having a die. All layers needs to be raised up so the pennies that are in the channel can flow or move freely.

I love sending birthday cards so last night I created set of 3 cards.

I used these little flag/ banners as accents, I have them raised on square foam on shimmery card stock.

Birthday Aperture swirl vine accents

Wanted to make a vine like card for my sister's birthday this week.
I cut an aperture with my Circle Scissors and embossed the front of the card.
With a Quikutz thinlets die I die cut random swirls and glued them in place to act as vines for the butterflies.

Inside I layered some very old patterned paper and included one more butterfly and the Tim Holtz happy birthday sentiment die set which i have been using all week!

Wide flower laced top birthday card

My son mentioned tonight he was off to a celebratory birthday dinner to his best friend's girl friend.
I couldn't resist giving a card for him to give to Candi.

Base card black, I used a wide flower border punch from MS to accent the top of the card.
Added a scrap piece of card stock from my stash (love the paper!), added 3 butterflies and little pearls (black, white, pink).

Inside I wanted another butterfly however I made it pop up inside. Not sure you can see it.

Center pop out birthday card

Made this quick card for Judy at work, her birthday was on the 13th, but I didn't see her till today
The base of the card is 4 1/4" x 11 scored at 2 and 3 1/4" on both ends.
 
I added a couple patterned paper to the outside panels.

The lace oval is from a Spellbinders die that I forgot I bought and tried it out. The die cut nicely however used wax paper and ran through twice to make sure everything cut and released.

Sentiment from Tim Holtz. Nice quick card. Think I'll use this unique fold again :)

Cheers beer mug birthday card

John's birthday is today so I created this earlier in the week and mailed it on Tuesday. Post office should be able to get this there in 3 days considering its 25 miles away.
Any ways created the mug with a 3 x 4 paper
The sides of the mug are 3 1" x 4" pieces that I've corner rounded.

Used Cuttlebug bubbles embossing folder to be the beer.

The foam of beer at the top are 2 different circles inked.

 All in all, petty cute card.

Birthday banner pop out card

I love this Elizabeth Craft Design Die set and it's rather fun and easy to make one of these cards.

This one I made for my daughter.

The sentiment are from Stampin Up.

I left the front plain as it will be dispayed open.

50th birthday pop up card

I made this birthday card for my sister as her birthday is next month. I made this somewhat quick card using the new Elizabeth Design Die I won at the Stamp Expo earlier this month. I just got around to using it.
The die set comes with a lot of pieces, well worth it if you happen to pick it up.

This is the cover of the card, I used some scraps I had and they all worked well. The Happy Birthday collage is a very old stamp set. (no name)

Expanded portfolio birthday card

I had all these individual pieces in my bin and this card just came together Saturday morning for a birthday card for Violet.

The base card is a 12 x 6 piece of double sides card stock.
Scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10", when closed/folded up it is 4 x 6.

Added a Stampin' Up butterfly punched and sentiment to the front.
The giraffe was in my stash from an old Cricut cut (not sure the size I cut) but he stands 4" tall.
Added gems to the giraffe where spots should have been.

Oddly enough Violet who turned 6 this weekend for loves giraffes and so glad I had this cut in my bin to complete the quick card!

Happy Birthday pop up

Created another card using the items I bought at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo, this one took a little less time than the last, I used two cardstocks and some liquid adhesive for the little pieces.

 This one I die cut the little stars and glued them back to back to string. I'll keep this in my stash till I need it - but I think this will work for both male and female recipients!

My daughter and I went to the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo and I bought a few dies and I also won some dies.

I made this card today.

Diamond plate masculine birthday card

 It is Don's birthday today and this is the card I made and mailed (it will be late)

 Using silver metallic cardstock I ran it through the diamond plate embossing folder.

 Using Creative Memories very old punches I made "nuts" . I inked with silver ink and raised them on foam pieces to give dimension.
