I used various scraps I had to make these.
I like this card, my favorite go to embossing folder - Swiss Dot.
Stampin Up Love & Sympathy stamp set, I used markers to color directly on the stamp and then stamped on the card stock. This card is going to a co-worker who just lost his daughter...

Sympathy Card

Using the QuicKutz die, it was fun to use the SU double sided paper to make the butterfly three dimensional.
My MIL called us last night and informed that an aunt had passed. I created this sympathy card to send, using the SU embossing leaves folder I just got on clearance.  The sentiment is also from SU.

With Sympathy

I was looking through my retired Stampin' Up sets and this single floral stem was alone in it's case.
I stamped it onto whisper white card stock, embossed the base layer and added the Teeny Tiny sentiment.

Rounded it off with a couple matching gems for a quick card to have when needed.

Butterflies of Sympathy

Created this card from my leftoevers again! Today is Earth Day and I am a firm believer of recycling.
Here I got to make this beautiful card to have on the ready when the time comes.
The embossing is the floral swirl from Cuttlebug, the butterflies are from Sizzix Stampin' Up embosslit and the sentiment was a cut from one of the Cricut cartridges, not sure at this time which one it was as it was in my stash. (I'll edit once I look it up)

Sentiment if from Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes. Various punches were used (SU) to punch out the sentiment.

The buttons were from a vintage yard sale I went to last weekend.

All I have seen

Created this card in memory of a young girl at the age of 14 who passed away on Wednesday. Her schoolmate friend is grieving and I want to send her this card.

I had bought this lovely stamp set years ago with the thought it would help me make the sympathy cards in a thoughtful way. The stamp set and inks are from SU! The border punch is MS and the rhinestones are from M's.

To help me create this card - I used the sketch and color theme at The Pink Elephant

Scraplift myself

I needed to make a couple sympathy cards and I really liked the card I created earlier this month. So I scraplift myself.
The stamp set is from Stampin' Up as well as the sheer ribbon.
Cuddlebug folder used was Herringbone to emboss the cs under the sentiment.

After I took these pics I did take my glitter pen and go inside the dragonfly to add a little accent to the images.
The saying says:
All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.
I think this saying is fitting for a sympathy card.

Provo Craft Countdown Be Inspired #41 challenge

Over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot - we were challenged for this week's Provo Craft Countdown Be Inspired #41 to perform the following.

We challenge you our fantastic readers to create altered projects from items in your recycle bin, containers to books the sky is the limit.Your bonus folder for this week is the textile folder from Provo Craft.

While I have loads of recycle items to choose from, I chosed a roll of wall paper that a long strip was given to me. I thought the designed and paper would make great sympathy or formal cards. This gave me the perfect time to try my creativity.

The leaf came from the wonderful wallpaper and even the butterfly was punch from the wallpaper using my Martha Stewart punch. (You can see it has wonderful nature like texture and I could not pass up using the scraps!)
Here are two version I made this morning -
Cuttlebug Herringbone folder used on the accent piece of card stock.
