Cuttlebug Challenge Stand Up Z fold card

Yesterday was Christmas activities for 24 hours - so I am trying to catch up.
The early hours was this Z fold card I Decided to make two since I was cutting per the directions. MS border punch, SU sentiment stamp, the Santa is a stamp by Tara Reed Designs. CB embossing on the greens lower portion (Swiss Dots) and the circle tab is a CB round snowflake minni embossing folder that I think I never used. This was perfect to use to hold up the main image.

Cuttlebug Challenge Christmas tag

As soon as I saw this challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenges - I immediately made these for a gift for my SIL and BIL as a thank you for having us over for a small cookout.
They were simple to make - base is 2 x 3 and accent layers. I did not tear my corrugation as it was thick. I embossed the SU tree with Jeweled Gold Stamp N Stuff by Stampendous

I made 14 of these - here are a couple shown. The To and From are stamped on red cs on the back - I did not take a pic before I gave them away.

Lady bug oh Lady bug

Ok - so the title is silly. I made this card for a little girl who lost her sister.

The following challenges helped me complete this.
Cuttlebug Challenge - in the garden - I used the lady bugs from WIMG and the tartan embossing folder
The color theme of red white and black at Crazy 4 Challenges
and the sketch from MoJo Monday's MOJO147

Vintage card

You know when you have a vision of how you want a card to come out - but it changes along the way. This is close to what I wanted to occur with this creation.

The puzzle pieces were cut from Locker Talk Cricut cartridge at 3". I then Stamped the hummingbird/birdbath image (Inkadinkado) using brown StazOn ink. It covered fabulously!
I glued down all but the upper corner piece which I tilted and raised on a foam square.
The ribbon, flowers, border and rhinestones are all from Stampin' Up.
I am entering this card in these challenges
1) Cuttlebug Challenge Vintage Valentine
2) Tuesday Taggers - in which we had to use a puzzle piece (I used all 9)
3) The Pink Elephant - we had to use polka dots, a bow and the color pink
4) Die Cuts R Us - use ribbon
5) Doodle Palace - something new - the stamp image and all the SU products were new - I got today
I think this will go to my MIL.

Sweet Valentine card

I made this for my daughter and followed along with the challenge at The Cuttlebug Challenge blog, had to be a red pocket card.

I stamped the cute Stampendous image on red craft foam - yes! You read right - ti is red craft foam. The Stayzon ink is perfect on foam.

The pocket is made by a strip of white card stock punch with a Martha Stewart punch. Adhesive on the sides create the pocket for the sentiment. (Studio G stamp) I used a Stampin Up punch for the pull tab and added some pearls for accent.

Inside Sentiment is a clear Studio image.

Cuttlebug Challenge be inspired #53

It's Guest Designer Week at Cuttlebug Challenge Be Inspired #53 We are asked to create a Halloween or Fall creation using these colors, and the Cuttlebug folder of our choice.
I actually used the MoJo Monday sketch to help me finish this card this morning.
I used not one but three CB folders. Can you find them!

This is made with my brother in mind, I'll mail it today to thank him for driving us around FL. Us 5 siblings went their to see my dad in the hospital. Hence the inked embossed FAMILY from the Autumn folder.
Love you Larry!! Thanks for putting up with 4 sisters.

I used the Stampin Up Thank You sentiment.

You Rock - Happy Birthday Sis!

My sister's birthday is next month, and at Cuttlebug Challenges blog Cuttlebug Creatively Yours Spotlight Sunday - Rock-N-Roll Invites where Cassie created hangind LP's from her mantle.
I thought it would be fun to make this card for my sister.

I used my Coluzzle to cut the vinyl - hee hee. However I added the white label that was traditionally where the songs, album title and artist name would go.

Provo Craft slider was cut from Fun Foam and a Stampin' Up ribbon slide through.
The present is a Sizzix die I believe

Inside sentiment from Studio G.

I used snowflake Cuttlebug folder on the tin, cut out a separate cover to protect the sharp sides. Coluzzle template used to cut ovals in the cover.
Stampin up stamp and ribbon used as well as Martha Stewart snowflake cut from prism.

Provo Craft Countdown Be Inspired #41 challenge

Over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot - we were challenged for this week's Provo Craft Countdown Be Inspired #41 to perform the following.

We challenge you our fantastic readers to create altered projects from items in your recycle bin, containers to books the sky is the limit.Your bonus folder for this week is the textile folder from Provo Craft.

While I have loads of recycle items to choose from, I chosed a roll of wall paper that a long strip was given to me. I thought the designed and paper would make great sympathy or formal cards. This gave me the perfect time to try my creativity.

The leaf came from the wonderful wallpaper and even the butterfly was punch from the wallpaper using my Martha Stewart punch. (You can see it has wonderful nature like texture and I could not pass up using the scraps!)
Here are two version I made this morning -
Cuttlebug Herringbone folder used on the accent piece of card stock.
