My boys turned 17 today and had to make masculine cards so Indie Art and Blackletter Cricut carts to the rescue.
I use the swing type card to create the cool flip action. My boys loved them.
We took them to Red Robin for their Birthday burger - a favorite place of ours. Yummm...

Favorite Flower challenge

at The Cuttlebug Spot we were to use our favorite flower and also emboss.
My favorite flower is the one on Indie Art Cricut cartridge which I cut at 2 1/2". I added glitter to the two layers of the rose. (not sure you can see it)
Embossing is the hearts folder by Cuttlebug
Layout I used is from Scrap Pile Saturday in which we have to use all scraps except the base card.
The color theme is Aqua from The Pink Elephant - TPE64
and at Fantabulous Cricut make a mother's day card. This card is for my oldest sister.

Gift card

On Project Tuesday, today's challenge was to create a gift card using this video tutorial .
I did mine a little different as I wanted a square card.
I took a 4 x 12 piece of card stock and scored at 4 and 8. The middle portion is then folded and the rest of the directions are the same.
I put a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4" cover and backing on so my finished project is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4"
I ran the cover and the back through the Cuttlebug Embossing folder because it matched my inner cardstock from Amanda Blu tablet that I got in the clearance section of Michael's.
The sentiment is a stamp set from K&Co that I got from Target clearance section last year.
The rose was cut from Indie Art Cricut Cartridge at 3 1/2"

This is for my Mother in Law, we always give her gift cards and I rather her get what she likes and needs.

16 Birthday cards

Our boys are turning 16 tomorrow and wanted to create cards to reflect their personality.
Both cards were made from Cricut's Wild Card cartridge for the base card and the Happy Birthday Sentiment. Did you remember there are numbers and alphabet also on the cart!! So the 16 was also cut from WC. Indie Art was used for the accents - the skull and the star. Stamps used were 7gyspies to break up the background.
