Gift Card Folder

I have made many gift card holders a while back - here is a quad pocket Gift Card Folder. (You can search on gift cards)
This is for my MIL and I wanted a little "wallet" for us to give her that included some gifts cards I picked up. Perfect gift s she can buy what she likes and she can pop it in her purse for future shopping trips.

I started out with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of printed paper. Scored and folded and I added a 17" ribbon for closure, the To and From Tag is from SU.
I corner rounded the upper edge for a finish look.
Inside holds a little note and 3 gift cards. If you want to add 4 - just write on the inner panels.

Follow the sketch bellow to score and you only make one cut!
Let me know if you have any questions.

Tri Fold Gift card

It's that time of year... to get going on crafts for the holiday and be prepared for Christmas gift giving.

You can make these gift cards up in no time!

The directions basically are:
Main CS piece is cut at 8 1/2" x 4"
Score at 2 1/2" and 6 1/2"
Seal the sides of the bottom (2 1/2" section) and fold up to form the pocket
Border punch the top fold flap (I used Stampin' Up Scallops)
Adhere a 4 x 2" piece of red cs behind the flap to show contrast
Cut a red cs 4 x 1" strip - border punch and adhere it to the inside pocket to match the flap

I inked and stamped a sentiment
Added strips of holiday paper and inserted the gift card.

Gift Card - using Plantin Schoolbook and Cheerful Seasons

This was a fun and simple project.
I cut the gift card holder from PS cart at 3 1/4" using function key Envelope and Tall Ball. Inked the edges and used sturdy tape to keep it closed.
Cut the birdhouse from Cheerful Seasons at 3".
Insert brad and added branches using MS punch.

Winter Wonderland gift card holder

While this gift card holder is a recent favorite to make You can actually do 2 or 3 at the same time. Check out all the options that Winter Wonderland linked up for us!

For mine - you take a 4" x 12" piece of card stock or pattern paper (this is the inside)
Score it at 4", 6", and 8".
Take a word window punch - or an Xacto knife and "punch/cut out the slot" where the card will go in.

Cut a piece of 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" solid cardstock (this is the outside - so stamp or emboss and decorate)
Fold it in half.

Adhere the inner piece to the outer piece.
I added a belly band which was cut at 1" x 10" and embossed.

Gift card

On Project Tuesday, today's challenge was to create a gift card using this video tutorial .
I did mine a little different as I wanted a square card.
I took a 4 x 12 piece of card stock and scored at 4 and 8. The middle portion is then folded and the rest of the directions are the same.
I put a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4" cover and backing on so my finished project is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4"
I ran the cover and the back through the Cuttlebug Embossing folder because it matched my inner cardstock from Amanda Blu tablet that I got in the clearance section of Michael's.
The sentiment is a stamp set from K&Co that I got from Target clearance section last year.
The rose was cut from Indie Art Cricut Cartridge at 3 1/2"

This is for my Mother in Law, we always give her gift cards and I rather her get what she likes and needs.

Soda Bottle Gift Containers

I could not wait to make these for my niece and nephews.
They are 20 oz Coke bottles with gift cards inserted.

I made the tags using Very Merry Tags from Cricut.

If was fun seeing them try to figure out how to open them. Needless to say my niece figured it rather quickly.

(sorry for the photo - I took it when I was over my sisters and I could only snap one pic)

Pop Up Gift Card

Over at Project Tuesday we were asked to make a Pop Up gift card. Rather easy and I have seen it done on SCS and other blogs but never attempted it.
You can actually get three gift cards out of one piece of 12 x 12 because the base is cut at 12 x 4"

I added a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 cover and backing run through my Cuttlebug Fleur de lis embossing folder. Inked with my ColorBox Cat Eyes ink set.

The top accents are a Sizzix swirl/flourish die that I covered in glitter - yes got to have a little bling.
Then for the sentiment - I used the Cuttlebug 4 You postage stamp set. Inked and glittered as well.

Here is what the inside looks like.

Gift Card Wristlet

Went to my sister's graduation last night - I am so proud of her! Going back to school and getting her degree.

I gave her multiple gift cards to various stores and needed a holder for them. Since I had made one like this a couple months back for my Aunt I had 15 mins to spare and created this one.
Accent Essentials cartridge used to cut out the flap, button from my stash, velcro dot for the enclosure and ribbon from Wal-Mart for the handle.

Gift Card Holder -Wristlet style

After 2 hours of practice and creating my directions - I have completed this little wristlet/purse! Just in time - I have to leave at 12:30 for a b-day party.
Some directions were given just weren't making sense in my tired head... so I had to start from scratch! I editted it a little.

Items used:
Cricut Accent Essentials cartridge - image/key #48 (shift)
Crop-a-dile
Card stock from My minds eye - lovely - the inside looks like cloth!
Ribbon from Stampin' up
