happiness at Christmas

Created this monotone plus one color card for the Cuttlebug Challenge
I ran the base white cs through the limited 5 x 7 HSN CB snowflake folder.
Then I used my Spellbinders die and cut a couple layers one which was embossed with the same folder.
Embossed the ornament (SU) with the CB Snowy scene embossing folder and raised it on foam squares..
Sentiment and punch label also from SU
We had to use glitter on our card so I actually glittered the whole sentiment label with MS ultra fine glitter - my fav! A few other snowflakes are glittered too. Camera is hard to pick up glitter - you may click on the pics to get a better view.
I have entered this card in Winter Wonderland challenge

Winter Wonderland - Sweetie

Challenge at Winter Wonderland is a Sweetie of a challenge so I chose the mint cut from the Very Merry Tags cut at 4". I did it in two layers and glued to the top together so it is a hanging card. Excuse the fact I forgot to add the red ribbon when I took the picture.
Sentiment is a Sizzix die. Added glitter and rhinestones.

Winter Wonderland gift card holder

While this gift card holder is a recent favorite to make You can actually do 2 or 3 at the same time. Check out all the options that Winter Wonderland linked up for us!

For mine - you take a 4" x 12" piece of card stock or pattern paper (this is the inside)
Score it at 4", 6", and 8".
Take a word window punch - or an Xacto knife and "punch/cut out the slot" where the card will go in.

Cut a piece of 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" solid cardstock (this is the outside - so stamp or emboss and decorate)
Fold it in half.

Adhere the inner piece to the outer piece.
I added a belly band which was cut at 1" x 10" and embossed.

Santa with children image from A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge cut at 2"
Martha Stewart snowflake on one of the cards, misc buttons and ribbon added to the front of the card base.

Inside sentiment is a Sizzlits die.

Card for Amber

There is a request from Amber's mom to send her cards - she has a fb page and all.
Here is where you can send a card and watch the video of this brave little girl called Amber Dougherty
As a member of the Cricut Card Fairy - this is our 500 mission.

I created this card with the help of 4 challenges
1) Winter Wonderland - Burgundy and Teal
2) Frosted Designs - use chipboard on our item -The flowers were used and added glitter to them (the picture is not so hot)
3) All Sorts Week 35 - use Hearts and Flowers - the hearts are punches and the flowers are CK chipboard
4) Create4Fun layout for week 4 #26 assisted me tie it all together.
The back ground - base card was run through the Swiss dots Cuttlebug Folder. I used a wonderful new border punch on the burgendy piece by Martha Stewart
