M is for Mistletoe

At ABC Christmas challenge blog - we are up to the letter M. 1/2 done. I have missed a few alphabet letters but I still have a stash left over from last year!

Since I did not have any true mistletoe stamps I resorted to the image section of Google. I added crackle medium to the background image except the actual plant. Please click the pic to see the crackle effect.

The back ground DCWV card stock is fabulous for embossing with the Cuttlebug folders. Been using the DCWV cards all day and sanding them to expose the white core.
The prize is hosted by Stamp and Create...at ABC Challenge Blog.

a very merry Christmas

How many weeks till Christmas? Gotcha.... just my weekly Christmas card to be prepared as I make around 80 each year.

This card is for a few challenges:
ABC Christmas Challenge - H is for Holly
Allsorts Challenge - use stitches (I used rub ons)
CSAYL - use die cuts - the top layer and the rectangle
Crafty Catz use red green and a punch - the holly is actually a Cricut cut from A Child's Year cartridge
Quixotic Challenge - to use metal - I used the turns and and the brads from Stampin' Up hodgepodge hardware kit

A is for Angels

Even though I missed the A challenge at the ABC Christmas Challenge blog I still wanted to get in the mode of creating a Christmas Card every week.

The angel is cut from A Joy of The Season Cricut cart, I colored with my markers, added glitter to the wings, and inked the edges with a brown ink pad.
The background is the music folder by Cuttlebug, also inked.
The Music sheet is a printed Google image that I tea stained with Adirondack ink. I crumpled the paper to look old and put the angle on foam squares to raise it up some.
