3 Minute cake

cooked in a mug! At Cuttlebug Challenge Blog we were given directions to make a cake in a mug or give it as a gift. I just love gifts like this.

The dry ingredients fit in a mug.

To give this as a gift, you baggie up the dry ingredients and add a tag.
I CB the front with the Tartan CB folder and the train is from Very Merry Tags. Snowflake is from MS.
We were asked to show us eating the cake - but I decided to show me making it, you should be able to mix it in the mug - but I went ahead and dumped it in a small mixing bowl instead.

Christmas LO preplanned with the CB

Well - this was fun. Not what I envisioned - but like it just the same. At the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog we were to emboss twice and punch on out layout. Wow - not sure I have ever used my CB on a LO... yet.
Title is by K&Co, Ho Ho ho is a tag from the Cricut Cart Very Merry Tags.

I take a pic of my three children every year in front of the tree - so now I am all set. Just need the pic!
I embossed the background of the photo mat, the tabs (SU!) were embossed with two diff CB folders. One was the countdown to Christmas which I embossed just the 25. The other was the 5 x 7 Ornaments folder and I just embossed the tab with one of the ornaments with a tree.

The lower right needed to balance off from the hanging tag so I embossed an oval (Coluzzle) with a couple folder, Swiss Dots and the Holiday Scene folders too. Whew!

Winter Wonderland - Sweetie

Challenge at Winter Wonderland is a Sweetie of a challenge so I chose the mint cut from the Very Merry Tags cut at 4". I did it in two layers and glued to the top together so it is a hanging card. Excuse the fact I forgot to add the red ribbon when I took the picture.
Sentiment is a Sizzix die. Added glitter and rhinestones.

Gift Card Ornament and blog candy

Created this from the Very Merry Tags Cricut Cartridge.
Cut the layers at 4", stamped, embossed and glitter - the back pocket can hold a gift card and hang on your tree or gift bag.

Created this for ABC Christmas Challenges we are on the letter J = Jingle.
Each challenge is the next letter of the alphabet. Why don't you join in?! There is also blog candy as well .

C is for candy

Here is a Christmas card using the layout from Winter Wonderland and the idea from ABC Christmas Challenge blogs

Sentiment "to from" is from Stampin Up, the border lace punch is from Martha Stewart and the candy is from Very Merry Tags from Cricut.
There is some Martha Stewart glitter - it is hard to see.

Recycle Christmas card to cute tags

I was going through some old Christmas cards I had (yes I save them all) and found this cute one with elves or are they fairy's?
I cut out the cute little images and then used my Very Merry Tags to cut corresponding 2 1/2 in tags which I ran through my Cuttlebug folder.

Added some ribbon and will use them on my children presents.
Great to re-purpose things.
