10 Wishes

I made this card for a Cricut Fairy Mission for a little girl with a form of childhood cancer. I am a member of the Cricut Card Fairy - so I am dedicating most of my cards today - to create and mail them to the current missions.
To help me create this card I used 4 challenges
1) Cuttlebug Spot - use the #10 (my 10 wishes - butterflies) 10 cut at 3/4" from A Child's Year cartridge. Butterflies were punched using Martha Stewart punch. The back ground of the card is a Cuttlebug numbers folder.
2) Daring cardmaker to use points - the points is the Marta Stewart star border punch
3) Colour Create Challenge #36 was to use the colors - Kraft, Blue and White
4) And to tie it all together - I use the sketch from The Pink Elephant

Sweet note card

Lets Get Fruity challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot was to create a card with fruit.
There are lots of fruit to choose from, I thought I would choose a strawberry. Luckily I have Indie Art Cricut cartridge and cut the wonderful strawberry at 3". I ran it throught the D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing folder. Raised it on foam squares

I thought I would make these into matchbook note cards. I think they turned out cute!

BBtB challenge - use the snowflake from Accent Essentials and Cuttlebug Spot use your favorite folder.

At Bitten By the Bug Regina challenge us to use key # 13 - the Snowflake from Cricut Cartridge Accent Assentials. And Also at The Cuttlebug Spot you can win the folder by creating a card and finding the blinkies.!!! Go to Challenge #42 : Spot the Cuttelbug Spot: New Cuttlebug Folders
I entered this card as well as since I am in the snowflake mood - this is my "cool" favorite folder to use on Holiday Cards.

I cut Image at 2 1/4" on mettalic board I bought at Michael's in the clearance section. The image as mentioned in the title is from Cricut Cartridge Accent Essentials.

I ran Stampin' Up white card stock through the Cuttlebug Snowflake folder and proceeded to hand cut with an exacto knife different areas of the double folded front panel.
I punch a whole in the card and the snowflake to allow it to hang.

I then cut another snowflake shape this time on the shadow feature and sponged it as a stencil on the envelope and the inside of the card.
The sentiment is from Leave memories.

I had this idea in my head for awhile - was not sure which cut or how it was going to turn out. I am pleased with this.

The Cuttlebug Spot hop - creations

On my to do list from tonight's blog hop - I got two of the 4 done:
1) Serendipity - where you take random pieces of scraps - and in this case glue them down and run them through a Cuttlebug folder. I used the new Herringbone folder. Used my scrap pieces that I save to accent the front. Looking at the card - it reminds me of an old patch work quilt.

2) Is double embossing. I first ran the printed paper through Swiss Dot folder - and sanded to show the dots, then I ran it through again - through the new Harlequin folder.
The embelishments - were also in my scrap bin.

I'll post the other two tomorrow.

Just finished a blog hop at the cuttlebugspot blog

Head over to the cuttlebug spot and hop the Design Team blogs for some creative ideas.
whew - what a trip glad I ate before I took this trip - lol
