Penny Black challenge - red white and blue

As I was reading Enfy's BLOG Going Buggy, once again she led me to an awesome challenge on Penny Black blog. Thank you En!
In celebration of July 4th here in US, we are to create a card or item using red/white/blue and a Penny Black image.

So - I took this as a personal challenge!
Here is my creation:

The pictures do not do the original justice. Perhaps clicking on the pics may show the card better.
I used sparkled glue on the butterfly wings, Cuttlebug "bubbles" embossing folder. The small hearts were a left over from a Cricut cutting that was in my pile and fit perfect!
Inside sentiment is a stamp from Michael's dollar bin.
Coloring done with my Marvey Markers. TFL

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge # 33 - take out your coloring tools

Over at The Cuttlebug spot blog - Challenge #33: Simon Says: Take out your coloring tools this week.

I used my Marvey markers to color in the StudioG Fairy image stamped with Stazon.
I also used glitter pen on the wings and paper glaze on the dress and hair. (If you click the pic - you can see it better)

Two CB folders used - base card and accent diamond piece behind the Fairy
SU Thinking of you sentiment and oval punch was used as well.

Hello - Hang in there

Here is a card that took a little bit of time but I enjoyed making it... the colors are so uplifting.

Divine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Fodler used on base card front.
Silk flowers frame the ovals.
Used my Coluzzle to cut the two ovals.
Image - Changito - colored using my Market markers.
also - on the flowers (and you'll have to click the pic to get a better view) - I used Alleene's Paper Glaze to make the flowers glossy and put pink crystals in each flower center.
SU - circle scallop punch(cut in 1/2) used for sentiment and raised with a foam square.
Inside, I had this heart cut from Indie Art Cricut cartridge in my "pile" on my desk and thought - hey - I'll add that in there. I used crystal to accent the inner corner. Click the pic for a better view.

Hi!

I just love Changito - he just makes me smile.
Here is a quick card inside allows you to put a gift card or check. (Which is why I made this card - hee hee)
Cuttlebug swiss dots folder to emboss base card front.
Yellow card stock cut at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Imaged colored with Marvey markers and inked purple around the edge.
Creative Memories corner rounder to round the white paper.
Misc ribbon (I think I got it from Currrent a long time ago)
Scallop 1/2 of a circle from Stampin' Up punch
Inside pocket for check or gift card only glued on two side, corner rounded for accent. Drew dashes and dots and also inked with purple. I'll write my sentiment on the yellow triangle.

Fairy hello

I saw these stamps by StudioG at Michael's craft store on Sunday.
I think they are so cute and immediately stamped the images on Stampin' Up whisper white card stock. Here are a couple I just whipped up right now.
Base CS ran through the Cuttlebug swirl folder
Image punch with Stampin' Up scallop circle and made the petal using Stampin Up small oval punch as well.
Marvy markers used to color the stamp image.
