JOY - Xmas card

Week 12 - we were provided with a tutorial at Christmas with the Cricut using the layout below and the JOY label.
So I thought i would give it a try.

The Joy sentiment is cut from A Child's Year Circut cartridge at 1 1/4"
The scene was cut at 2 1/4 both raised on foam squares
The sentiment inside is from a challenge at Memories Always Forever for a XMAS recipe challenge

Here is a copy of the wording we had to use at MAF:
Christmas is not a time nor a season,
but a state of mind.
To cherish peace and goodwill,
to be plenteous in mercy,
is to have the real spirit of Christmas.

Birthday card

I created this while working on a couple challenges tonight.
At Creative Twist - we had to choose a letter and only create with that. my letter is B.
B= blue cs, holiday B = Birthday, stamping was a B = bird. Ink was blue, accent - B=bow

At Christmas with The Cricut Week 7: Simple Card Monday - we were shown how to make this Pop up (fold up) card! So simple.

At The Cuttlebug spot blog - we had to use a bird and I did! I used a stamp and also two Cuttlebug embossing folders. Victoria and Script.

The card in a pop up view
The card flattened for mailing
