I used the retired Stampin up felt snowflakes as the accent on this card. It is on a base layer of black cardstock embossed with the Sizzix dots embossing folder.
I included a Martha Stewart center snowflake punched from white cardstock. (my intentions was to add glitter to the snowflake before I took the picture, so you'll have to image it is there - ha!)
The sentiment is from Stampin Up as well punched and layered which is also on foam squares.
We are finally have beautiful spring weather with upper 60s and 70s, perfect for crafting and not wearing a jacket.
Happy Friday!

Fuzzy Mittens card
We are having snow this week so it is only fitting that this card make sense. Another 6 in ches or so they say.
With spring around the corner, the snow is still in the air and on the ground. Mittens are needed for sure!
I made this card tonight with a very old Card Kit I bought years ago! It is the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding Card kit. Faboulous colors just my style.
Here is one, I'll be posting various ones throughout the days ahead.
The base card has a slight texture to it, its a light grey/green color which I inked the edges. The next layer is a pattern paperat 3" x 4 1/8" layers with 2 5/8" x 3 3/4" polka dots.
the mittens are glued, inked onto chipboard and the tops of them have fuzzy fibers too cute!
the cross bar piece at the top is 5/8" x 3 5/8" crumpled a bit and inked then glued in place. I tied some string behind the heart (also inked) to make it appear the mittens are hanging from the heart.

Sled winter card
I love this old fashion wooden sled!
I purchased this set from Judi at Stampin' Up and CASE the card from Card with Klass.
I stamped the image in Versafine Black Ink so it would not run when I colored it with my blender pen using the ink from various ink pads, red for the bow and cardinals and brown for the sled.
I made a set of 4 of these and will have a nice stash for the holiday this year!
Inside sentiment not shown also from the stamp set.

Winter Skate
I was glad I finally picked up my Stampin Up order as I could not wait to make some cards with it.
I know we are almost done with the winter season so I took the opportunity this week to make some cards with the set of stamps!

This I embossed the layer behind the matted stamp image. Making multiples of these made it simple to get a small batch done and saved for next year.

Snowflakes - or should I say blizzard!
When I was looking for another LO idea, I came upon SOUS challenge where they called for snowflakes, lots of snowflakes on a page! (click on the pic as it's hard to see a double page spread)
Well - last year we had in TOTAL over 8 feet of snow.
These two pages will contest to that and this was only in January - multiple storms one week after another!!
Large Snowflake is a Sizzix/SU die
The mittens, and the snowman with his hands up - almost like saying - now what! is a layered sticker from Provo Craft. The button letters are from Junkikz. The title chipboard is also from Provo Craft.

Nor'easter
Here we had 12+ inches of snow - I always take pictures of our storms as there is a silence or calm as the ground is covered in a white blanket. I just hate clearing the cars!!!!
You'll notice in the corners of my LO I punched Martha Stewart snowflakes and used my Crop-A-Dile to punch a center hole. I strung some wonderful fibers through the hole and fastened it in the back.
Give it a try for a great effect!
