My neighbor's little daughter just turned 8.

Inchie swap - from Cricut MB

Well - I jumped on the inchie craze. You say ... you haven't heard. Google and you'll get cool info. Anyway - it's a little image - about an inch in square and you scene it up - like a mini SB page - or at least that is how I envision it.
On the MB at Cricut.com a member wanted to do a swap with tags and inchies.

Here is my submission - we had to make 20 and our theme was "wings" anyway we wanted to interpret it.

I used card stock for the base of the tag from The Paper Company (nice thick CS) (I cut mine to 3 1/2" x 2"), I inked the edges with chestnut Roan ColorBox ink calk pad.

Diecut the angel wings/heart from Sizzix. Love it! Got it in the clearance bin at ACM. Inked the edges with yellow.

Now for the inchie.... multiple layers here.... first layer on the bottom - 1 1/4 inch sqaure of yellow/green pp and crimped it - fun! Then punch a 1" blue square (CM punch) and placed that on top. Using the Friskar border unch - I cut the diamond border in green cs and glued that down. added a little paper blossom (bought from Oriental Trading).
Lastly I used the phrase "wish" from Stampin'Up

FUN FUN FUN - wish I signed up for another theme but..... will be going on vacation and need to get things in order.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Challenge 3 repost

So - I do not know what I was thinking last night, other than I loved Maria Bell's card challenge layout and I was staring at the gorgeous paper which lead me to spring - which led me to the bunny card made below.
As I was reading Maria's post of fellow submissions - it hit me - oh duh! I was suppose to do a Christmas theme - duh!
so - here is my entry - whew!

The cute elf is from studio G 2008 series 21. The three bow brads from... not sure as I have them in a bin....the little clip is from making memories. Patern paper from HOTP

State Swap organized by Molly CB MB

Well I finished!
52 of us - well some did more than one ... we all picked a state or two, the cover and the back to make this State Quarter swap and album.
The States cartridge was used. I did not have the cart so Molly did the cuts for me and mailed them to me a few weeks ago. I glued and glued and now I am done.

For You sweetheart treats

I designed this little folded piece of paper to fit perfectly around these Necco treats.
Cut a 12 x 12 paper to get four 8 x 4 pieces of paper (you will have a 4 x 4 piece left over)
Score at 2 3/4", 3", 6" and then again at 6 1//4"
Fold up the larger area and use eyelets to keep sides closed.
Fold down top and embellish as you like.
I used a foam dot to keep the top flap down.
Embellishments: Yellow square piece of CS cut and CB through a folder. "For you" cut at 1 1/2" from the Cricut Wild Card Cartridge - cute little blue hearts also cut from WC cart.

Valentine kisses - Sour Cream container filled

Yum - these are so cute and quick to make!!!
I used Provo Craft paper to make the containers.
You take an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper cut in 4 pieces equal pieces
Glue the long edge to form a tube
Glue the short side - crimp edges - I then filled with 4 Hersey Kisses
Turned the piece 90 degrees and seal and crimp closed
Cut the scallop circle with the SU scallop punch love it! - perfect little accents
Cut hearts from the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge and ran it through the Cuttle Bug Folder (pin dot) was used.

Made these for my daughters friends at school and for the postal clerks.
