Hershey Mini Briefcases

I made these tonight to send to my daughter and her friends at college.
Since they are older girls... I made the super simple briefcases.
If you make them use super strong/thick card stock. Mine is super sparkly embossed card stock. I made it so it will hold 4 Hershey Mini chocolates back to back.

Cut a 3 1/2" x 6" piece of card stock
Follow the diagram or email for more details.

I used eyelets and tape to keep together.
Added an 8" length of ribbon for the shoulder strap and a small piece of super strong Velcro

let me know if you make them! Please leave a comment too - would love to visit your blog!

I had to make 6 of these quickly to get them to mail out to my daughter and her roommates.

I filled with three Hersey Almond kisses.
Paper from Provo Craft

Stamp image from SU, Heart punch from Stampin' Up, 2" scallop circle from EK Success
Fiber from a local yarn store, purple eyelet (which you can't see which is how I attached the name to the treat) from Doodlebug.

Hugs & Kisses

Created this card to send off tomorrow and followed the sketch at The ABC Challenge blog.

Elements I used were
Pattern Paper by Sweetwater
Sentiment by Inkadinkado
Punches by SU, and the Label One Nestabilities Spellbinders die that I cut and embossed the bear and mat.
Embossing - Cuttlebug Victoria Embossing folder

Be Mine

I love this digi from Tiddly Inks!
He just screams - hug me!
I colored him with my markers and colored pencils, I feel he should have been gray but since I just did an elephant I wanted to use a different color....
I had scraps of pattern paper (Provo Craft) from a previous craft project and they fit perfect for the Layout from OWH S&S
I am entering this card into the challenge at The Paper Players and Sentimental Sunday for Valentine's and love theme
The sentiment I think is from Inkadinkado
The punches I used are from SU! and the yarn (fibers) is from Red Heart

29 again?

My BIL birthday is tomorrow so he will get this one day late as it will post tomorrow in the mail.
He likes elephants and I just so happened to find this cute digi on Tiddly Inks web site. And it has hearts too - being his b-day is so close to Valentines day - it works perfect. I cut the hearts out also separately to make a double layer and raised on foam.

used the birthday CB embossing folder and cut the tag and 29 our of a Provo Craft die set.
The bakers twine is from The Twinery.
The sentiment is from a blog candy I won from Melissa

I am entering this card in the following challenges
The Cuttlebug Spot - Trifold
One Stop Craft - use numbers
Cute Card Thursday - make a funny card to banish the blues!

Crafting with kids

Friday night I helped my neighbor's little girl create this banner. We used the Martha Stewart heart punch (my fav) and the solid SU heart punch, then tied them together with some fluffy yarn. Came out adorable and she hung it on her bedroom door.

Today, my niece and Iwent our for breakfast. We then went back to my house to make these three items.

10 Happy Birthday

My neighbor's little girl is turning 10 in a few weeks so I tweaked this card to add the hanging funky "10" tag.
Stamp set and card stock is from SU, the 10 and the funky tag is from Provo Craft.

One Stop Craft - numbers
Kaboodle Doodle Monochromatic 0 basically all shades of pink - but a hint of green

Bee Crafty Valentine card

I got the LOVE digi from Bee Crafty to enter in the challenges below. I loved coloring it with my Bic Mark it! pens.
It's a very sweet digi and you can re-size it to suit your need. Since I used it as a sentiment - I re-sized it to 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"

Entering this card in these challenges
Bee Crafty - use Digi and hearts
All Sorts - Love
Try it on Tuesday - Love
Raise the Bar - hearts
Cute Card Thursday - funny sort of card in Banish the Blues
Frosted Designs - Pink, White Red

Beary Red card

I need to finish a few more cards this weekend before I send them out on Monday to complete my Valentine mailing.
This one is simple and the inside will allow me to write more than just a simple hello but more to the recipient.

The teddy is a digi or image I got from a swap so I am not sure what the company is.
The base paper is textured Colorbok card stock that I just picked up in Wal-Mart last night for 5.00 for 40 count of 12 x 12! The pattern paper is from Provo Craft, the front border punch is from Martha Stewart that was a left over on my desk! Yahoo using my scraps!
The circle scallop punches are from EK Success. I punched dots in them scallops as one of my challenges did not allow embellishments! Hmmm so I had to spruce it up some how.
The inside is a left over piece from the front and use the SU scallop border punch as well.

I am entering this card in the following challenges
Create 4 Fun - I used the sketch
CRAFTS AND ME - Red as the focal point
Crafty Catz #68 Tartan or Plaid
Prairie Fairy Friday - valentine
Crazy4Challenges - make a Valentine Card
Charisma Cardz - no embellishments - border punches were allowed!

Guest Designer entry

Hello All,
Hope you all will play along with Week 88 challenge at C.R.A.F.T. blog where I am guest designer this month!
Their give-away for the challenge is from Susie Sugar of Diecut Dreams! You can see the give-a-way shown below. It is "50 piece Valentines Die cut Cupcake kit, cut in yummy Romantic Red, Hot Candy Pink and Pure White quality card."

I have to tell you - I love the die cuts and quick shipping from the UK to the USA!
Here is my guest spot with the birdhouse die I bought from Susie! I bought a pack of the birdhouses, some cupcakes and chipboard keys!
For the flowers I used Prima and iRock bling. The sentiment and oval punches are from SU!. The leaves are also from SU - the two step Bird punch.

Above is the inside - I used a bit more of the EK Success border fence punch, more Prima flowers and my iRock for the centers.
