Washer Pendants
Well I finally got this crossed off my to craft list - Washer pendants.
I went to the hardware store yesterday and bought three (I gave my niece Alycia one and didn't take a pic) washers. I like this one for the size.
Luckily when I got home I had the exact paper punches to punch the card stock to fit the holes of the washers. I learned this technique here and here.
I showed my sons and they thought I bought them! Cool.
I used Mod Podge to glue the cs to the front of the washer.
I then put a layer of Liquid Embossing to give it a glaze.
While it was still wet I added bling. Waited overnight and added another layer of Liquid Embossing.
At M's I could not find the satin cording but I found leather cording which I like better because it is thinner. Looked through my two drawers of beads and found these metallic ones.
I have entered this in Allsorts challenge - anything less than 3"

This is such a cool idea. They turned out great. I would have never thought of using washers for this. I agree that they look like something you would buy!

Very pretty! I made a couple of these a while back, but I found the leather cord would not lie flat.....did you find that to be true? If so, do you have a fix?
These are so pretty! Great job!
