Picture Frame from an old CD

I created this sweet picture frame to be given with some baby gifts for a little girl.
I used an old CD I got from Disney and cut out scrapbook paper from Colorbok (Wal-mart) and glue sticked it to the front and back.

I created an easel in the back so it can stand up, if you watch the video you can see how I created this.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tim Holtz Vintage Clock mini Album

I enjoyed making this album tonight - the foundation are used CD's and the inspiration is Tim Holtz Vintage Clock and Bird Cage dies. I also used the large Butterfly from Spelbinders and various products from Prima and Stampin Up to name a few. Also on the cover is vintage music sheet from 1940's!

Please enjoy the video and I have put together a kit to make one more that I will be selling if anyone is interested!

BOO CD repurpose wall hanging

To think last December I hand cut out these darn circles by hand and there on Plantin School book was a circle I could have used - I set the size at 4 3/4" and the letters at 3 1/2"
Added some of those cute images I had on my haunted house - love it!

EDIT: once I cut the circles - I glued them with glue stick to the CD, punched a hole with my Crop-A-Dile. Strung them together with black lace ribbon from SU! and some orange ric rac I got at the thrift store.

CD case - Photo display

While I have seen this done and I have previously made CD cases calendars - this was one I had not done. At Cuttlebug challenges we were to take a clear traditional case and doctorate it up with CB and Christmas to come. Mine of course will be all set for a picture of the extended family that I take every year. It will have the year and a little journal block under the CB embossed snowman.

The cover was CB embossed too as well as those funky trees

CD Altered mini album

I am going to a graduation party today and made another CD mini album for the young lady. (have to make her a card and a gift card pouch)
I am really pleased with this one! The base is 4 used CD's that I covered. Here are all the "pages" and elements.
The cover is inked and a glossy title adhered, flowers and bling add to the less is more. The binder ring is tied with multiple ribbons, fibers and yarn. I added glass beads and a metal heart charm (click pic to see a better view)
Page 2 was embossed with stripes and dots embossing folder and inked. The pocket was a circle cut in half and inked. The loop punch is from MS. Folder tag so there are more spaces for pics and writing. Topped it off with a MS flower.
Page 3 inked and a glossy accent raised on foam so insertion of a photo can occur.
Page 4 background embossed with CB stars folder and inked. Photo tag is a double for multiple photos or journaling. Border punch is a MS star punch.
Page 5 the name plate - inked and raised on foam so the photo mat can be removed for photo addition. All elements inked
Page 6 background embossed with CB dots folder and inked. Poket cut with a border punch and photo insert is a 2 1/2 x 7 inche coordinating paper folder in half so there are multpiple places for photos or hidden journaling
Page 7 the pocket cut with border punch and inked. The photo insert inked and added a trip of the border punch as well
Back page - embossed with CB stylyzed embossing folder and inked with brown color box ink
