Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Challenge 18

We were to use this sketch

Whisper white CS from SU, gold glitter paper (from Michael's) ran through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. The sentiment was from a Cricut MB swap I was in last year.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Challenge 17

I am late - "Debbie's Color Combo Challenge #17 (05-18-09)" we were to use these colors, which I did not have. So I used what I had in my stash.

We were also given a sketch if we wanted to use to help us complete week 17 which I did. (Love Maria's sketches)

Martha Stewart punch and SU sentiment. The snowman was from a Cricut MB tag swap - so I mounted it on the green CS to match.)

Butterfly - birthday card quick and simple

I just love the butterfly cut from Indie Art. I cut the Butterfly at 2 1/4" (I first did a 3" cut and it was huge) Then I did the shadow in a diff color cs. The accent under the butterfly is also from Idie Art - it is the shift/heart key.

Pearls glued to the butterfly and my wonderful glitter pen used on the accent cut and the butterfly wings.

Base card stock was run through birds and swirls Cuttlebug Emossing folder.

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge # 31 - emboss something other than paper

Well - funny thing is - I had saved this tin foil inner seal from a peanut can just to emboss one day or cut something from it. When today's challenge was asked of us - I immediatley made an Ornament card!

Base is a top folded card that I cut by using my circle Coluzzle template - I left a portion at the top for the "hanger".
The Sentiment is from Stampin' Up Sizzix die
...glitter, misc ribbon, and snowflake punch used as accents

52Weeks #19 Sketch

This is my first entry into the 52 weeks SB LO challenge.
Lots of measuring and cutting using my 12 inch paper trimmer!
Also the Coluzzle for the sun and a paper "ripper" by Plaid for the "waves"
Letters are from a punch out pack I had for quite some time - got to use my stash :)

Spinner card

I think the back ground needs something more - either I may emboss it or run a roller stamp over it ... for now it sits like this until I get another idea....

Martha Stewart butterfly punch inked and shadowed as well, Stampin' Up office tag punch in the corner with two eyelets. The stamped image is from TAC (The Angel Company) Colored with my Marvey markers. Sentiment from Inkadinkado.

SB layout - web site 52 sketches

Where o where have I been? I was reading a post on the Cricut Mb about this great site.
http://52sketches52weeks.com/

Each week a new LO is provided. This is great as I am working on layouts earlier today (Saturday) and need some new LO to use.

Check them out if you get stumped and need some creative jump.

Directions - tutorial on Card Keeper Purse

Hope you can print and understand them

This goes with the posting below.

Look what my daughter got me ....

for Mother's Day! She bought it off of ebay.... I am sure it was not cheap as people always increase the $ to make a buck or two. She heard me talking about this punch and how I miss out on it last fall at Michael's.

Thanks Kristen! You sure surprised me!

Scandinavian Hearts - Thank You card

Made this for the Ad Inspiration Challenge #13 on the Cricut web site - the colors we had to use were green and blue.
I used the Cuttlebug folders as back ground accents. Pink rhinestones on the butterfly and SU sentiment and oval punch were also used.

FYI - The cutting is called Scandinavian Hearts, it is made up of cut and weaving.

Sheetload - 6 cards!

Well after admiring all the wonderful card LO's that Alicia does on Sheetloads of cards, I pulled the April issue and proceedd to cut the card stock to make 6 cards - one set for a gift for my MIL. I enjoyed this - as it lets you create multiples but still lets each card become your own creation.

I am also going to enter these in The Cuttlebug Spot as well.

Card purse - card keeper and set of 6 cards

I made this keeper to hold 6 cards. I think it's better with 4 of 5 cards.
I found measurements somewhere blog hopping last week and for the life of me I can't remember which site it was. If anyone knows -please post a comment. I had to change the measurements a little and I added a handle. I also CB the flap portion.
I included a set of 6 cards as mentioned above. The card layout was from April issue at Sheetload of Cards (see April listing.
I used CB embossing folders - and 4 new ones from Sizzix I bought tonight at AC Moore! (click on each pic to see a larger image for detail)
This is for my mother in law for Mother's day.
Velcro added to keep it closed. I will add six stamps as well to complete this Mother's Day gift.

Shout Out To SheetLoad

Folks - you have to hop on over to the blog of Sheetloads.
This allows you to take a minimal amount of cs and pp and turn them into multiple cards in no time!
I've been following this blog and even have it listed on the right side of my blog.

Each month Alicia creates and published a eMagazine for use to view and get wonderful ideas.

This month - May issue is here! (May '09).

Butterfly - Mother day card for my sis

So I spent a little bit of time over two days creating this card - my vision and execution were slightly diff but I am happy with the outcome.I entered this in the Challenge #29:Happy Mother's Day at the cuttlebug spot blog.

Transparency cut and embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder and overlayed to the cover.
The inner portion of the card was embossed with D'vine Swirls and sanded so the white core shows through. Pearls and paper flowers added as accents. Sentiment from Wild Card Cricut Cartridge.
